Recently a picture of Manav Gohil, Juhi Parmar, Shakti Anand, Aashka Goradia, and Amit Sarin went viral. Apparently, the picture was almost a decade old. In a recent chat with BT, actor Manav Gohil, talked about the pic and shared, “That is almost 15 year-old photograph. We all were doing a show together and we had gone to Chandigarh for an event. We were a batch of actors who were really close to each other. In those days, actors were fewer. I remember we were a handful of youngsters and there were only three channels.”
Manav also shared an incident from their Chandigarh trip, and said, “From the beginning of our careers, Juhi and I have been best of friends. When we were all out roaming and exploring the city, I made Juhi sit in a cycle rickshaw. I asked the rickshaw owner to let me ride it and accidentally, Juhi’s leg got stuck in the wheel of the rickshaw. She was in so much agony I still remember. Her foot got injured and the next day she had to perform like that.”
Manav adds, “We used to have an amazing time together. Right from dancing to eating, we did it all together. We had fantastic camaraderie between us. We maintained healthy friendships with each other. Even today when I meet Shakti, we hug like brothers. Amit has moved to the USA, but we are still in touch. Juhi and I too talk to each other often. But when we meet, we set the house on fire! These bonds were like school time friendship, where we had no agendas but we were friends because we liked each other.”
On the professional front, Manav is currently seen in the show Kamnaa. The actor is also waiting for two of his Gujarati films to be released soon. Manav is also shooting for a Bollywood movie.
