TV show Durga aur Charu recently witnessed a leap and the characters of Adrija Roy and Rachi Sharma were introduced as Durga and Charu. A male lead in the face of Mohit Kumar was also introduced by the makers to take the narrative forward in the most interesting way possible. But now the buzz is that Mohit Kumar has been replaced.
As per a source close to the show, it was revealed, “The channel and makers decided to replace Mohit. A few actors were approached and now they have shortlisted Kunal Jaisingh and Rahul Sharma for the character. But they are quite keen on having Kunal on board for the role.”
Kunal Jaisingh is a very popular name in the television industry and has earlier done an interesting cameo for the production’s show Kyun Utthey Dil Chhod Aaye. He has been praised for his finesse in both positive and negative shades of characters.
