Actor Jatin Suri talks about his role as antagonist in ‘Do Chutki Sindoor’
Jatin Suri, renowned for his notable performances as Diamond Singh in the popular TV sitcom ‘Nimki Mukhiya’ and its sequel ‘Nimki Vidhayak,’ is all set to showcase his versatility by taking on an antagonist role in the TV show ‘Do Chutki Sindoor.’
Jatin talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “I’m thrilled to be a part of ‘Do Chutki Sindoor’ and essay the character of Tanmay, the antagonist in the show. It’s my first time portraying a negative role, and I find it challenging and promising. Tanmay will be involved in plotting against the lead character and even committing a murder. It’s a new side for me, and I’m eager to let my audience see something different.”
The talented actor’s journey in the industry began with ‘Nimki Mukhiya,’ a show that received immense popularity and became special due to his co-star, the late veteran actress Rita Bhaduri. Fondly recalling their time together, Jatin expresses gratitude, “I feel lucky to have started my acting career with ‘Nimki Mukhiya.’ Working with Rita ji was an incredible experience. I cherish the memorable moments spent with her during her last days. She was a wonderful teacher, and her acting tips and homemade treats still resonate with me as I follow her teachings.”
Jatin’s enthusiasm for growth in his career is evident as he expresses his eagerness to explore both television and OTT platforms. He shares, “As an actor, I am always looking to expand my horizons. I don’t want to confine myself to any specific medium. Whenever good opportunities come my way, I embrace them wholeheartedly. I am happy to be exploring both TV and OTT screens, having taken on challenging roles, including that of a child in a special show that received appreciation. I look forward to more such exciting opportunities.”
