Actor Iqbal Khan who was missed from the small screen for the last three years is now all set to make a comeback with the show ‘Nima Denzongpa’.
According to sources, Iqbal will essay a pivotal role in the show. His character will be closely associated with the lead actress Surabhi Das. A source shared, “Nima Denzongpa is a show about real characters and how a kind-hearted and innocent girl Nima goes through struggles in life. Iqbal’s character will bring an important twist to the show. He will be paired opposite Nima.”
Iqbal is known for his performance in shows like Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, Waaris, Dil Se Dl Tak and Tumhari Pakhi. For the last few years, the actor kept himself busy with web shows.
Earlier in an interview with BT, Iqbal talked about his relationship with the small screen and shared, “I can never be thankless because the TV has given me a career. I do get a bit disappointed when a good TV show has to change its script because of the rating game, but whenever that has happened, I have only tried to give it my best and worked with full conviction. I have always done TV shows when the script has appealed to me.”
