Actor Gultesham talks about his role in Naagin 6: says, “I am both nervous and excited”
Gultesham, who is known for his role in shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, and Maddam Sir, has now joined the cast of Naagin 6.
The actor talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “I will be introduced as a naag (shape-shifting man), who will support Tejasswi’s character in her endeavors. I am nervous and excited at the same time, as I have never played a character like this. It’s also a big responsibility because, with every new character, the makers expect the ratings to get better. So, I will put my best foot forward and play the part with conviction. I am looking forward to working with the cast of Naagin 6.”
Gultesham who was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is elated to essay a positive character. He said “I have no clue why I am always offered negative characters. But I am excited about breaking away from the image. I want this stint to be successful, as it will result in more such opportunities.”
Gultesham was planning to take a break from the TV when he was offered a role in Naagin 6. Talking about it, the actor said, “I was focussing on transitioning from TV to the web and films. It requires a lot of time, too. However, I changed my mind, as this opportunity seemed interesting. If I manage to strike a chord with the audience, I will be in demand (smiles). I will continue to take up more TV shows if I am offered interesting characters,” he concludes.
