Actor Ayaz Khan and wife Jannat become parents to a beautiful baby girl, the couple names the newborn Dua

Ayaz Khan and his wife, Jannat, have become parents to a baby girl. Ayaz who rose to fame with his stint in Dill Mill Gayye welcomed the baby today morning (December 21). The actor talked about it in an interview and shared, “I can’t believe that I have become a father… it’s crazy. Initially, it felt as if I was holding someone else’s baby, like a friend’s child (laughs!). To be honest, the feeling took some time to sink in. Our daughter is adorable. It’s so strange that you are so worried while holding someone else’s newborn but when it is your own, it comes so naturally to you — holding the baby and cradling her. You know you will be fine and won’t hurt the baby. It’s a feeling that can’t be explained. You have to experience it to understand what it is. It’s amazing!”

The couple has named the baby, Dua. “Both of us agreed on the name instantly. I have a ‘Jannat’ in my life, so, what better name than ‘Dua’ for our daughter? It’s apt.”

Ayaz and Jannat have embraced parenthood almost five years after their marriage. Earlier in an interview with BT, Ayaz talked about looking forward to embracing parenthood. He said, “Jannat and I had an arranged marriage. So, we decided to spend the first few years in knowing each other better and developing our bond and friendship. The pandemic took away two years and we didn’t want to plan anything around that time, as visiting hospitals would have been a risky proposition. We obviously wanted a baby, but we weren’t thinking about it actively. In fact, a day before discovering that we were pregnant, we were discussing taking some time off and traveling (laughs!). Everything happens at the right time.”
