COLORS’ upcoming show ‘Swaran Ghar’ has already created a lot of buzz. The show is based on the life of a middle-aged couple Kanwaljeet and Swaran (essayed by Ronit Bose Roy and Sangita Ghosh) who are abandoned by their own children. The couple who sacrificed their dreams for the sake of their children now has to witness their own blood, turning their backs on them.
According to the reports, popular actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary has been roped in to essay the role of Ajit. The character of Ajit is Swaran’s loyal friend who will be helping Swaran in her journey of being self-reliant and empowered.
In a recent interview, Ajay talked about it and shared, “It feels great coming back on the television screen after a long gap and what better than this gripping narrative of ‘Swaran Ghar. Sargun is a great friend to me who believes in me and when she narrated the story, I couldn’t say no. It will be like a double reunion for me on the show as I have worked with both Sangita and Sargun in the past. I will be playing Swaran’s dependable friend and an affectionate lover. In his journey of supporting Swaran, he also changes from being a conventional person to a progressive one. I hope the audience love and supports us in this brand new journey.”
