Actor Aditya Singh Rajput dies after falling in the bathroom of his apartment

Actor Aditya Singh Rajput died on Monday after falling in the bathroom of his Andheri apartment. His mother Usha talked about to him over the phone minutes before the incident. In an interview, Usha shared that he had not mentioned his ill health. The mother who is still trying to cope with the major loss is enraged by speculative news reports online that had mentioned a drug overdose to be the reason for her son’s death.

For the unversed, an autopsy was carried out at the Siddharth Hospital on Tuesday, and the cause of death has been kept pending for forensic analysis.

Usha said that she called Aditya around 2. 15 pm on Monday and told him that their previous chats on WhatsApp had got deleted and he should ping her as she isn’t well-versed in the messaging application. Aditya then sent her a voice note around 2.25 pm, and talked about certain issues with the messaging app.

“That was the last time I heard from him. The next call came later in the day from one of his friends about the incident,” she said.

Usha who is a retired government servant, lives alone in Delhi. Her husband was a Delhi high court advocate who passed away 11 years ago. Reacting to the rumors about a drug overdose being the reason for his death, Usha said, “This is not true at all. The news portals must retract such incorrect stories and stop defaming my son.”
