Actor Aakash Ahuja Set to Lead a New TV Show, Returns to Channel Following ‘Faltu’ Exit

Aakash Ahuja, last seen in the TV series “Faltu,” is geared up to take the lead in an upcoming show on the same channel. ETimes TV has learned that talks are underway, nearing finalization between Aakash and the production house for this yet-to-be-titled project, promising an entirely new avatar for the actor.

Sources close revealed, “Aakash Ahuja, known for his role in ‘Faltu,’ is in the final stages of negotiations to lead a new show on the same channel. While the show’s concept remains undisclosed, it is anticipated to bring forth a distinctive storyline, showcasing Aakash in an unprecedented character portrayal.”

Limited details are available about the forthcoming show at this stage.

Aakash Ahuja previously portrayed the character of Ayaan Mittal in ‘Faltu,’ where he was paired opposite Niharika Chouksey. Expressing disappointment upon the show’s conclusion after nine months, Aakash conveyed his emotions to BT, citing disparity in opportunities for other underperforming shows while their consistently performing series met an abrupt end.

Niharika, who essayed a significant role in ‘Faltu,’ shared her sentiments about co-star Aakash, highlighting their off-screen camaraderie akin to the bond between Rahul and Anjali from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.’

‘Faltu,’ which debuted in November 2022, concluded its run within nine months.

Aakash Ahuja’s professional journey spans multiple TV ventures, including ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki 2,’ and a stint as the antagonist in Karan Deol’s film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ in 2019, before returning to television. His credits also include projects like ‘O Gujariya: Badlenge Chal Duniya’ and ‘Qubool Hai.’
