anujohnson Shwetha...see I am a south Indian..brought up in Mumbai..I didn't know Hindi first..I used go watch cartoon(doremon) and I learn Hindi from it..I would tell you to listen to Hindi..first you will not understand much..ask us about the meanings and slowly you will learn Hindi..I promise..I learn it in this way..from my experience I am saying..by listening you can learn any language ....it will take time but you will surely learn...try watching cartoons..I learn Hindi by seeing Doremon..this is truth...

anujohnson Dear Shwetha..I am also a south Indian like you..I was in Mumbai from a young age..I knew only Malayalam at first..by seeing Hindi dubbed cartoons(doremon) I learn Hindi..I would rather say that by listening to any Hindi video or show or cartoon you will learn hi di easily..it would be difficult at first..don't worry we. All are there with you..I learnt hindi by watching doremon...seriously...I am saying the truth...
