Abhishek Kumar talks about his role as Adhiraj in Bekaboo; says, “I’m receiving recognition because of Ekta ma’am”
Actor Abhishek Kumar, who is currently essaying the role of Adhiraj in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show ‘Bekaboo’, feels the role has helped him gain recognition in no time.
The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “I’m glad that I was convinced to play Adhiraj. After my last show, I was very much sure to do only a lead role be it positive or negative. But I feel I’m blessed that Ekta ma’am gave me a chance to play such a beautiful role as well as a powerful one in her show. And in no time people started recognizing me in public places. They come to me greet me and appreciate me for my role. It is seriously encouraging.”
Referring to Ekta Kapoor as the Goddess of TV, he added, “I feel any actor who gets the opportunity to work in the Ekta Ma’am show is blessed. In her show, every character has an equal opportunity in a lead role. My role has a significant scene time and a wonderful act that is helping me to connect with the audience and entertain them with my individuality and that has helped me receive recognition in no time. Ekta Ma’am is the Goddess of TV and there is no doubt about it for sure. I will always be thankful to her.”
For the unversed, Abhishek rose to fame with his reels on social media platforms. Later he made his TV debut in the TV show ‘Udaariyaan’ as Amrik Singh Virk, He also worked in the Punjabi entertainment industry and was featured in Hindi music videos as well.
