Abhinav Kapoor on Bade Acche Lagte Hai 2 going off-air; says, “I was there in the first and the last scene of the show”
Abhinav Kapoor is pretty upset that Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 is wrapping up. Abhinav essayed the role of Vikrant on the show. Three days ago, the cast shot for the last scene calling it a wrap.
The show will return soon with the next season, where Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar will be back. Abhinav talked about Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 coming to an end in a recent interview and said, “This season lasted for quite some time. Just that post leap, it didn’t go on for long. According to me, maybe the audiences wanted to see more of Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar as they were the soul of the show. I could be wrong about it but I feel that the main leads exited the show and thereafter no one could fill in their shoes.”
He added. “The show was very close to my heart because I was there in the first and the last scene. I was very emotional when I got to know that it was ending. I have played this character for around two years, and this character had become part of me. To detach from this role is going to be difficult for me, so I am taking a vacation for a few days. I also have a close association with the production as I have worked with them on 10 shows now. I got along well with the entire cast of the show and that makes it tougher.”
When asked if there is a possibility of him being a part of the next season, he replied, “No one has approached me yet. But if they reach out to me at any point, I would like to give it a shot. There are a few projects that I am in talks for, but I haven’t finalized anything yet.”
Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for a holiday. “I am going to Himachal for a trek to divert my mind and start afresh. I love being close to nature. Since I took up this show, I haven’t been on vacation in two years, so now is a good time to explore and enjoy time by myself,” he said.
