Aastha Sharma talks about her role in ‘Neerja… Ek Nayi Pehchaan’; says, “The role I’m playing here is so beautiful, I can’t wait for people to see it”
Actress Aastha Sharma is all set to be a part of the upcoming show Neerja…Ek Nayi Pehchaan. She will be essaying the role of Neerja in the show. The actress talked about it in a recent interview and shared that she is excited because she will be portraying a character that is very different from what she has done so far.
Aastha said, “The story revolves around a mother-daughter duo and how the mother is very protective of her daughter. My character is someone who has been brought up in a red-light area and there are many challenges that come her way. Sneha Wagh plays my mother in the show.”
Aastha further added, “I have never played a role like this. I am excited to be part of this show as it is different from my previous shows. I find Neerja’s role very challenging. It’s a beautiful character and I can’t wait for people to see it.”
Aastha recently shifted her base from Shimla to Mumbai. Talking about her experience so far in the city, she shared, “I moved to Mumbai this year in February. Before that, I was in college in Chandigarh, where I also shot for my last show Swaran Ghar. I have moved here with my dad and the rest of my family is still in Shimla. I am excited and nervous about the changes that come with shifting to a new city. There are many things I am observing and learning around me, so I am still settling in.”
