Aarya Rawal has been essaying the role of Shanno Singh in the TV show Shakti for the last 4 years. Recently there have been rumors of her quitting the show. Although Aarya has not reacted to the news, according to one of the sources of BT, “Aarya had allotted 25 days in a month to ‘Shakti’. However, she has shot for less than 12 days in the past few months. Money was another reason behind her decision to quit the show. Besides her fees being affected by the slashing of budgets, her income has reduced further as a result of shooting for a lesser number of days. She was happy with her role in the show as Shanno was one of the main negative characters, but she wasn’t happy with the fact that her track had reduced considerably. She tried to speak with the producers about it, but there was no response to her messages. She had to take this tough call as she needed to grow – both as an artist as well as financially.”

The actress is currently serving her notice period of one month.
