The legacy left behind by Sanjivani was too big to match. We had high hopes when the makers announced that it’s sequel will be brought to the screens to recreate the magic on screens. But the show failed to grip the audience like before and lost it’s charm very soon.
The news of the show going off air is buzzing since long and today it was revealed that actress Aarti Bahl has made way out of the show too. The audience was enthralled when they got to know that Mohnish Bahl will be joined by his wife Aarti on the show but her sudden exit has made them shocked. The news is that she will be replaced by Seema Pandey on the show.
When asked about the sudden change in the script and if it has upset her, she said to a leading entertainment portal, she said, “Not really. These things happen in our profession, it is not unusual. A love track was planned between Dr. Shashank Gupta and Roshni Mathur (Mohnish and Aarti), but it didn’t take off as the makers felt that it was not required and so, it was better that I do not continue with the show.”
On his take, producer Siddharth Malhotra said, “It was unfortunate, but then everyone knows that such changes happen in TV shows. I did not want to waste Aarti’s talent and hard work because the focus is only on Sid (Namit Khanna) and Ishan (Surbhi Chandna).”
