Exclusive – Senior Wagle Aanjjan Srivastav returns on the set of Wagle Ki Duniya; says ‘Coming back on the sets after this brief hiatus is extremely exciting and satisfying’

Wagle Ki Duniya is once again winning hearts with its relatable family-based storyline. The show is back in a fresh avatar but it still showcases the bond between families in a beautiful manner. Aanjjan Srivastav who essays the role of Srinivas Wagle in the show is back on the sets and is all set to enetertain the audience once again.
Aanjjan Srivastav,also played the role of Srinivas in the previous ‘Wagle ki Duniya’. The show was aired in 1988 and was conceived by R K Laxman. In a recent interview with BT, Anjjan talks about the experience and shares “I have been working in the entertainment industry for almost 50 years, and my journey so far has been splendid. Every show or movie I have done holds a very special place in my heart. I have already spoken enough about what Wagle Ki Duniya means to me and coming back on the sets after this brief hiatus is extremely exciting and a satisfying experience for me.”
He shares, “Through the show and its storyline, we have always aimed to depict the journey of a common man, which is one reason why the show has touched the hearts of our audience. I am thrilled to be back on the sets and work closely with the entire cast and crew in our endeavour to continue bringing these heartfelt stories.”
Further, he adds, “I can’t wait to hear all the smiles and giggles on the set. Besides Bharti, Sumeet and Pariva, I have also developed a great bond with the kids as well, and I am happy that I am finally getting a chance to shoot with this amazing team, on and off the screen.”
Aanjjan concludes by sharing a special message to the fans, “Our fight against the current situation is going on, and we need to continue to take all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of ourselves and our families. I request all my fans to get vaccinated as soon as possible and moreover continue to take basic hygiene measures and not become complacent.”
