Ayaan and Meera study the letter carefully to plan an attack on Cheda. Meanwhile, Revati closes her window after seeing Cheda and tells them that her ancestors appeared, showing a banyan tree as a key to defeating Cheda. Meera notes that the banyan branch is sacred, and though Ayaan offers to get it, Meera stops him.
Outside the hotel, Cheda breaks a tree and hurls a branch inside. Bipin notices writing on it, which Meera reads—it contains Cheda’s demand for them to leave the hotel. Ayaan heads toward the door, but Meera warns him of the danger. They argue about Revati’s family curse, with Meera defending the family. Determined, Ayaan insists on retrieving the banyan branch to save Revati, teasing Meera about her worry before leaving. Revati grows restless.
The next day, Meera and Bipin prepare for Ganpati Visarjan. Meera prays for divine help, especially for Ayaan. Revati, disturbed by a voice she thinks is Meera’s, finds Cheda instead, shocking her. Sensing danger, Meera checks on her, while Bipin regrets his helplessness. Meera realizes Cheda is creating an illusion to lure them out and resolves not to fall for it. Ayaan saves Bipin, who nearly succumbs to Cheda’s trick, warning him to stay inside before heading out on his mission.
Later, Meera and Bipin worry over Revati’s high fever. Revati, feeling weak, asks them to let her die at Cheda’s hands, believing she cannot be saved. Despite villagers arriving for the puja, Meera comforts Bipin with faith in God.
During Ganpati Puja, Ayaan ventures into the forest and retrieves the banyan branch. Cheda attacks him, but Ayaan strikes back with the branch, forcing Cheda to vanish. He rejoins the puja, and Meera is relieved. Afterwards, Meera and Ayaan discuss the challenges of their plan. A villager suggests making a special paste, and everyone helps prepare it. Suddenly, the doorbell rings; Meera fetches what appears to be a food box, but Cheda laughs ominously, hinting at further danger.
