A soldier’s wife’s best Eid
Smile and tears appeared on her face together due to happiness.
After all her husband Ruhaan is coming after a long time.
She ran outside.
Ruhaan put the luggage down and looked at her.
They exchanged happiness through their eyes.
Suddenly she went inside.Ruhaan followed herto the room.
Ruhaan kept his hand on her shoulder.
Ruhaan:Mishti!
Mishti turned back and looked at him.Her eyes were full of tears.
Mishti:Ruhaan!
Ruhaan:Why are these tears in your eyes Mishti?Are you not happy here?
Mishti:I am very happy Ruhaan.But I missed you every moment.I was eating fear everyday.I was always scared about safety.
Ruhaan:I know Mishti.Every Army man’s wife thinks like this.Even I was worried.But Allah was always kind to us.So I am safe.Why these tears now?
Mishti:These tears are due to happiness.I am very happy Ruhaan.
Ruhaan wiped her tears and said:Even I am very happy Mishti.I was longing to see you.
Mishti:Happy Eid.Eid Mubarak Ruhaan..
Ruhaan:Eid Mubarak Mishti.
Mishti:This is the best Eid.You came to celebrate Eid with us.That’s a great thing for us.
Ruhaan:For me too Mishti.
They embraced each other.
Ruhaan:Why this burqa before me?
He removed her burqa.
He took a lehenga from his bag:Wear this.I bought this specially for you.You wear this and we will celebrate Eid together.
She smiled happily.She caressed the lehenga:This is so beautiful..
Ruhaan:It will be more beautiful when you wear it.
She smiled.
Mishti wore the lehenga he gave with jewellery.Ruhaan was mesmerized by her beauty.
Ruhaan:I can’t take my eyes off you Mishti.You look gorgeous.
She could’nt stop blushing.She had missed these compliments from him for a long time.
He pulled her closer passionately.
She blushed.
They celebrated Eid happily.
Time passed.Finally the day has come for Ruhaan to return.
Mishti was in tears.
Ruhaan was struggling hard to control his tears:Mishti…
Mishti was weeping bitterly.
Ruhaan’s eyes were wet:I will return.Right?Please don’t be so sad.
Mishti:I don’t feel like sending you back.I am scared of your participation in the war.
Ruhaan wiped his tears.
Ruhaan:Mishti..I understand your emotions.But it’s my job.It’s duty to serve our country.I have to protect our country.
Ruhaan cupped her face in his hands and looked at her eyes.
Mishti:I know that.And I am proud of the fact that I am a brave soldier’s wife.
But I feel a strange fear.
Ruhaan:Don’t worry Mishti.
Allah will protect me.He will keep me safe for you.We will celebrate every Eid together.Promise.Now let me go Mishti.
He caressed her face emotionally and turned back to go.She held his hand.He lost his control and leaned towards her face.They joined their foreheads emotionally
and cried out the pain of upcoming separation.
Slowly he moved backward trying hard to control his emotions.
He waved his hand at her painfully.She also waved her hand at him with tears flowing from her eyes.
Mishti does not know whether it’s a temporary separation or not.But she lives with the faith that her husband Ruhaan will be safe and he will return to be with her to celebrate the next Eid.

This was truly beautiful and emotional OS, heart touching story of a brave soldier and his wife, I loved this very much, I just want to ask the three Stories which I read on Mishaan by you , you wrote as very much emotional and painful way, is there any reason for that ? Though you shows emotional scenes , I have seen so much happier scenes which were comparitively very much lesser in these three, that’s why only. The way Mishti welcomed Ruhaan was truly amazing, he removing her burqa and gifting the lehanga then their eid celebration was written so well, the way Ruhan was convincing Mishti that he should protect nation and he need to go was really painful . When she said I feels proud to be a soldier’s wife was so heart touching , lastly when he went away looking at her eyes emotionally and the way you wrote Mishti don’t know if it was a temporary separation, but she believes that he will again come back to celebrate Eid with her was very much painful and emotional. Such a beautiful and deep writing, the pics were so good
Thank you very much.Actually there is no particular reason for writing sad one shots.Seeing the pics suddenly some plots came into mind and wrote them as one shots.
