Hello Friends, How are you all ?? Hope every one’s eid celebration went well……Guys, here comes the first part of this ff…..I have made so many changes from the plot of the original novel because that’s a classic one and if I will present the incidents mentioned in that one, then it will be unfair to the novel as well as it’s author…..So in my imagination, I am giving new story line without deviating from the theme and I hope I can do justice to the novel……So guys, if u have not read the previous one…then here are the links….

@ Sharada Vidyapeetha College Auditorium……….
Principal : I am feeling much proud to announce that our college has secured first prize in the inter collegiate music competition……The team “Rock Stars ” again proved that they are the best……I sincerely appreciate the effort of Gireesh Rao and his team for re-creating the golden moment…….On behalf of management, I would like to honor gireesh with this momento…..Gireesh, Pls come to the stage and receive the same…….
The whole auditorium was filled with the big round of applause for gireesh……Vinutha who was the well wisher of gireesh was standing beside him looked at his eyes and smiled…..
Vinutha : Go gireesh…….And have it…….
Gireesh simply looked at vinutha’s face and without saying any thing he moved to the stage and received the prize from principal……..While receiving prize the whole auditorium was happy, but gireesh didn’t felt even a glimpse of happiness in heart……Right after getting the momento gireesh get down from the stairs of the stage and left the auditorium without telling anything to any one…….All felt strange and vinutha felt much sad for gireesh’s behavior….. Vinutha quickly left the auditorium and rushed at the porch were students park their two wheeler…..Gireesh was there and he was almost ready to start his scooter…..Vinutha moved closer towards gireesh and turned off the key……
Gireesh : Vinu [vinutha] This is not the time to play……..I need to go…….
Vinutha : Gireesh, what’s wrong with you ?? All are happy for your achievement and you are leaving your happiness behind…….
Gireesh : Vinu, This happiness can’t come with me at my home and that’s the truth…….
Vinutha : You are hurt from heart because of shanta maa’s words, won’t you ??
Gireesh : No……What maa told is right naa ?? This momentos can’t bring dollars to my home…….We are from middle class and we are having those kind of dreams which are so far from our world…..
Vinutha : Gireesh, don’t get upset…….That day will also come when your maa will realize your talent and she will sung song for you…….Just like she use to sing lullabies for you in your childhood….
Gireesh : Vinu, it seems so strange naa ? My maa is the inspiration who made me to get lose myself in the world of music…..In my childhood, I use to sing with her and she use to smile with me from heart……But years passed and now she won’t smiles for any one……Instead of it I can see worries in my maa’s face and she is much obsessed for dollars…..Always she dreams a dollar sose [ dollar duagher in law] for chandru …….[laughs] an NRI girl for our poor chandru…….
Vinutha : And our chandru is so calm and shy guy, who doesn’t even talks with girls and doesn’t seems to be much ambitious except the wish to become doctor, I wonder how will he manage dollar wife ??
Gireesh : Why you are so tensed for chandru ?? It’s his life naa……
Vinutha : Gireesh, he is my friend naa, like you…..You both are my best friends…..By the way as you have planned to leave, then drop me at the auto stand……I want to say my paapa that my friend has won first prize….
Gireesh : Vinu……..You haven’t changed even a bit……That days are gone when we were kids and played together….Now we have grown up and what will your paapa think if he sees me with you ??
Vinutha : What ?? Gireesh, this is not the first time am sitting in your scooter…..At childhood I used to sit at your cycle and we will do all those fun which often chandru has missed……
Gireesh :That’s why chandru became the top student as always he gets involved in the text books and I became an average student……In fact you also scores better than me…….
Vinutha : Just stop it, gireesh…….Why you are repeating the same thing, average student only ?? Have you hear about the famous scientist edison ? You know what edison was …..
Gireesh : [ interrupts her by keeping his hand on her mouth] Pls my sweet vinu…..You have told this story to me at least 10000 times…..And seriously I am not in a mood to hear that one…….I will not repeat the word average student……Promise….[gireesh slowly removes hand from vinu’s mouth and they look at each other’s face and smiles]
Vinutha quickly sits at the scooter and keeps her hand at gireesh’s shoulder…… Vinutha : Congrats, my dearest buddy and now pls wear your helmet…..
Gireesh : Helmet !!!! Why, you forgot to bring purse today ??? Last week you deal with that traffic inspector by giving 500 rupees and saved my dignity……A friend in need is a friend indeed and truly I am having such a gud hearted friend…….
Vinutha : Apply as much as ice you want, gireesh…..I am not going to melt any more……
Gireesh : Oh My God!!! It’s so bad for me……..What will happen to this poor guy if you will leave him alone ??
Vinutha : Gireesh!!! I am not in a mood to make fun with you…..Pls go…….
Gireesh : Okay……Okay……
Gireesh starts the scooter and after some time they reaches the auto stand……
Scene shifts to auto stand…
Vinutha : Where is paapa ??
Gireesh : He might be coming soon…….Vinu….”Vinu, Gireesh……..” The sweet voice made them happy and they turned back and finds Shyamappa [ father of viutha] [Actor Devaraj as Shyamappa]
Vinutha : Paapa…….[ vinu rushed and hugged shyamappa] See what your son has received…..He got first prize paapa….
Shyamappa : Wow!! That’s great…….Gireesh, my beta…….I am so happy for you……Have it……[ shyamappa handovers a box which he was hiding behind his back]
Gireesh : What’s this chaacha ?
Shyamappa : Open it, you will feel much happy ……
Gireesh opens the box and finds a violin on the box…….Tears roll down at his eyes and he touches shyamappa’s feet….
Shyamappa : What are u doing beta ?? Your place is not at my feet…..[ shyamappa and gireesh hug each other tightly]
Gireesh : Chaacha, Thank u so much……..This is so precious to me……..[ gireesh releases himself from the hug and kisses the guitar]
Shyamappa : Next time I will bring much bigger one for you……..The thing is I bought this with the collection which I earned in the last two weeks………It was vinu who suggested me to buy this for you…
Gireesh : Vinu……You already decided that I will win ? [vinu nods her head and smiles] What was the necessity of buying this one ?? I mean chaacha is an auto rickshaw driver and your family runs with his sole income and chaachaji……this crazy girl told some thing and u are mad to run behind her words……
Shyamappa and Vinutha laughs……
Shyamappa : I would like to see my son giving beat to this violin…….
Gireesh : Now….
Vinutha : Pls gireesh……..
Gireesh smiles and takes the violin…….Vinutha looks at him……..
He starts playing the violin…..BGM…..Honnatha Naadu [film – Ananda Jyothi ] plays……
