CHAPTER 32: LET THE TRUTH STING!?

SCENE 1: Riddhima is getting ready for karwa chauth ritual, when vansh comes in..

Vansh: Dadi, is calling you down, she is saying that the moon is out so..

Riddhima: Ok, just give me 2 minutes i will be down..Ouch!!

Vansh: What happened?

Riddhima: The bangle! Its not coming!!

Vansh: Riddhima! You are bleeding! Can’t you do it slowly?? SIT!!

Riddhima: Vansh, don’t worry i am fine, it’s just a mere scratch…

Vansh: Are you blind or what?? It’s bleeding soo much and you are saying it’s just a scratch…if you are careless like this who will take care of you every single time?

Riddhima: You! I know you will always be around to help me!

Vansh: But there will be time, when i won’t be there, then you should take care of yourself…

He leaves

Riddhima’s pov: Vansh is not an open book, a while ago he was talking to me as if i cheated him, and now he is talking like this…what is going on in his mind??

After a while riddhima comes down…

Dadi: Finally, all the couples are here, start the rituals soon..

Riddhima: Ok dadi….

Dadi: Have you all atleast bought gifts for your wife’s? I mean afterall they were fasting for your healthy life…

Vansh: Don’t worry dadi, i have the most unexpected gift for riddhima…in fact not one! I have two gifts for her, which i am willing to give now..

Siya: Wow, bhai! Not bad huh? Turning into a ideal husband?

Dadi: Siya, don’t tease him like this, otherwise he will not do it…anyway, if i may know, what is the gift vansh?

Vansh: Her parents! Riddhima, go and open the door, they are waiting..

She goes and opens the door, they come in and everyone greets each other..

Dadi: Now, we will talk later, start the rituals…sulekha ji, you won’t be doing?

Sulekha: We don’t do this ritual in south india…

Paritosh: But she keeps a fast every saturday…

Everyone breaks their fast..

Vansh: So? How was your gift?

Riddhima: Thanks vansh, couldn’t have asked for anything else…

Riddhima: But i thought you said there were 2 gifts..

Vansh: Your parents were on whole 1 gift, another gift i will give it to you in our room..

Siya: If your secrets is over then can we head over to the dinner?

Dadi: Not before, riddhima breaks fast..

Riddhima: But dadi, i broke mine, just now…

Siya: Dadi, was not talking about your fast babhi she was talking about you breaking vansh bhai’s fast…

Riddhima and Vansh: What?

Dadi & siya: We saw that you didn’t even drink water and ate lunch also…so we assumed..

Vansh: So you both assumed that i was fasting?

Dadi and Siya: Yes!

Riddhima: Vansh, did you really keep a fast for me?

Vansh: Riddhima..

Siya: Babhi, i am hungry please break bhai’s fast and head over to dinner…

Riddhima makes vansh drink water and feeds him a sweet…

SCENE 2: After dinner everyone is heading to their rooms…riddhima is talking to her parents..

Sulekha: Finally, we could get a moment alone with you! Is everything alright between you and vansh?

Riddhima: Yes ma, you saw right how he kept a fast for me, anyway why did you get that doubt?

Paritosh: Morning we got a call from vansh..and he told us to come to mumbai…

Sulekha: Told? It was sounded more like a warning or wait, it sounded like an order!

Paritosh: Sulekha…let me complete…and when we asked why, he said that right now your daughter needs you the most, when she ends up alone and he cut the call, and he book us flight tickets…we were worried about your relationship…

Riddhima: Oh is it? You must’ve misheard him papa, we are absolutely fine…i will talk to him don’t worry, you go and take rest…

They all disperse to their rooms…

SCENE 3: Nithya was talking to abhi… (earlier that day)

Nithya: What are you planning to do?

Abhi: I know about riddhima, if she has decided to trust vansh…then something must have happened that changed her mind,about him…

Nithya: Obviously, living with him, that too in the same room..she might have known that he can’t hurt anyone…

Abhi: I know what can bring her back..

Secret conversation…

SCENE 4: Riddhima comes to the room, and finds it decorated…

Vansh: Welcome sweetheart…

Riddhima: Vansh? What is all this?

Vansh: Oh! I didn’t do this dadi and siya did! Anyway come and sit we have a lot to talk about!

They both sit..

Vansh: Close your eyes!

Riddhima: Ok..

Vansh: Fine now open your eyes…

Riddhima: What do we have here? *she notices a gift box in vansh’s hand* someone is in a nice mood today…*she opens the box and finds a ring*

Vansh: So? Do you like it??

Riddhima: It’s beautiful vansh! And it has even your intials on it VR, or if i see it the other way, its our intials, Vansh and Riddhima, VR…

Riddhima’s pov: Vansh loves me soo much, i shouldn’t hide my truth anymore, i will tell it to him now only…

Vansh: Hope it will remind you of me everytime you look at it..

Riddhima: It obviously will remind me of you vansh, Vansh i need to talk with…

Vansh: Do you trust me?

Riddhima: Yes, i trust you vansh…

Vansh: How much?

Riddhima: More than anyone else in this world…

Vansh: Can i trust you? 

Riddhima: Yes vansh, i will never betray you.. 

Vansh:Then what were you doing meeting with this women!!! *he shows her the picture with nithya from their meeting today* 

Riddhima: You were spying on me? You asked me right if i trust you? I do!! But looks like you don’t trust me!

He pulls her close to him..

Vansh: Trust? If i didn’t trust you then i would have asked directly, why were you spying on me before my marriage and all! I would have asked you directly, why are you so much interested in my past? I would have asked why did you read my diary! But still i chose not to…

Riddhima’s pov: Vansh knew about everything?

Vansh: Yes, sweeheart, i know that you might be thinking, if i knew all this? Yes, i knew! 

Riddhima: If you knew why, why…did…you…even marry me?

Vansh: Sweetheart, you came into vansh’s house and you thought you will spy on me and i wouldn’t know? That was your first and major mistake! I have eyes everywhere riddhima! And coming to our marriage, i wanted to see till what limits can you go to fulfill your whatever mission it was! I investigated about you, you are not from police, then why are you spying against me? Personal revenge much?

Riddhima: I..i…vansh…

Vansh: And about the diary! You read only as much as i wanted you to read, you might have noticed long gaps in my book right? It was because i tore away all the other pages! I knew you read my book, when you read it first time itself, thats where i started noticing everything!

Riddhima: Vansh, that was past, now..

Vansh: You know whenever i saw care and affection in your eyes, i wanted to believe that it was true! But nah! My mind kept reminding me that it was just fake and you were just using my emotions! But after yesterday, i believed that you gave up on spying on me, and you really loved me! But, it was just another drama right??

Riddhima: Vansh..please..

Vansh: I can never ever hurt you riddhima! Because even when i knew that i was going to get betrayal and heartbreak from you at the end, i was a fool enough to love you still! So please just walk out of my life, just like the way you came…just leave riddhima!

Riddhima: vansh, i can explain, please.. let me just..

Vansh: I want a divorce riddhima…

Riddhima: Vansh? 

SCENE 5: Abhi and nithya were discussing about their plan…

Nithya: Did it work?

Abhi: Obviously! I sent him the photograph’s regarding your meeting with riddhima….now after seeing that vansh is not going to keep him calm, since he believes that you are one of his enemies, and he is searching for you, now imagine his wife meeting his enemy…it would seem like that his wife is also a traitor, usually a normal person would kick her out of the house, but it’s vansh raisinghania whom we are talking, he will unleash his real and vulnerable side to riddhima!

(MY OPINION: HE TRIED TO TRUST RIDDHIMA, HE EVEN DID TRUST RIDDHIMA AT SOME POINT, BUT HE BELIEVES PROOFS, AND THEY ARE ALL PRETTY MUCH AGAINST HER! HE GAVE HER TIME IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP, SO THAT SHE WOULD GIVE UP ON SPYING AND MAYBE GIVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP A CHANCE)
