CHAPTER 26: STATE OF LOVE AND TRUST!

SCENE 1: Vansh sees riddhima and kabir together..

Riddhima: I think so i should leave now..

Kabir: Oh yeah, sorry for holding you back…

Riddhima: Never mind..

Riddhima goes inside and kabir leaves…Vansh also goes inside..

Dadi: Oh so both of you came together??

Riddhima: Both?! *turns around* Dadi we..

Vansh: Yes dadi, we came together..

Dadi: Ok, Riddhima, keep all of these in the room, we have to pack them also, i will call someone for help wait..

Riddhima: No dadi, i will do it by myself, i am habitual to these, i will do it…you can go and sleep…

Dadi: Fine…

Dadi leaves and vansh is also about to leave..

Riddhima: I thought you said, you will come late to home?

Vansh: Why? I mean i can’t come to my own house whenever i want? Or me staying here is your problem? Tell me, i will leave and i will come when you want…

Riddhima: Vansh why do you have to take everything seriously? I just asked a question, anyway eat something before you sleep, you didn’t eat properly in the morning also! And i am sure you might have not eaten anything afternoon also, so go and freshen up, i will tell someone to send in food…

Vansh leaves..

SCENE 2: Kabir is in his home…

Asha: Kabir, you seem happy today? Anything special?

Kabir: I met Riddhima, i apologized to her like you told me to…

Asha: Good kabir, you should never question a girl’s character, it just tells how bad i have raised you!

Kabir: I know, i realized my mistake and apologized right?

His phone rings….

Kabir: Mom, this call is important, i will talk to you later..

She leaves..

Kabir: Hello? Samar?

Samar: Hi kabir..

Kabir: Did you find anything?

Samar: Yes, before virat died, his phone’s last location was in the outskirts of the city,  near a villa…

Kabir: Villa? Was it Craig Villa?

Samar: How did you know?

Kabir: We own a place there, it’s like a farm house, only Me, virat and mom know about that, it’s like an escape for us…

Samar: Kabir, i think so your guess might be right, virat’s death was not an accident….

Kabir: Why? i mean why do you think so?

SCENE 3: Vansh is in his room, when riddhima brings food…

Riddhima: Vansh, here you go…

Vansh: Riddhima, i am busy, i am not even hungry!

Riddhima: Vansh, please, you have to take your vitamin tablets also, and without even eating anything, how can you eat them…*takes his laptop and keeps it aside* 

Vansh: Riddhima…

Riddhima: Shhh! Now come on eat..

Vansh: *takes his laptop and ignores riddhima* Like i said, i am not hungry…..

Riddhima: *takes a spoonful of rice and keeps it near his mouth* What? Keep doing your work, and eat!

Vansh: Riddhima, what is this?

Riddhima: See you said you were busy, so keep working and i will feed you!

Vansh doesn’t argue and eats…riddhima continues to feed him

Vansh: You didn’t take any driver, did you find a driver at that time?

Riddhima: No, i mean i met kabir in the shopping mall, and he helped me buy a few items and he only dropped me! You must have seen him, on your way, didn’t you? Because he had just dropped me and you also came at that time only!

Vansh: Oh! I am full, you can take this away…

Riddhima: Ok, don’t work late, i have to pack those items, so go and sleep…

Riddhima leaves…

Vansh’s pov: You didn’t break my trust again riddhima, i am happy…but wait she fed me, but did she herself eat? She tells everyone to take care, but she doesn’t take care of herself…

He goes to the room where she is packing things…

Riddhima: You didn’t sleep yet? 

Vansh: Did you eat?

Riddhima: No, i will eat later..*points towards the gifts* This much work is there…if i go and eat, i will feel sleepy and i can’t do anything…

Vansh: *brings food* EAT!

Riddhima: Vansh, what is this? Some kind of revenge?

Vansh: No, it’s not revenge, its care and lo..

Riddhima: Care and ?

Vansh: Nothing, just eat…If you won’t eat, then i will have to do it myself..

Riddhima: You are most welcome to do that…*she opens her mouth* 

Vansh: Fine! *he also feeds her* 

Riddhima: Enough now, i am full…

Vansh: Enough? You hardly ate anything! More 2 spoons…

Riddhima: No, i am full..

Vansh: Riddhima, stop behaving like a kid and eat…

Riddhima: Vansh, no, please..

Vansh: Shh! Open your mouth…

Riddhima: Vansh! *opens her mouth* 

Vansh: Now that’s like a good girl, look at you half of the food fell on you only! Riddhima, you are really kid! Can’t even eat properly! *wipes her mouth* 

Vansh leaves

Riddhima: *she remembers how her dad used to feed her the same way* Vansh cares soo much about me and my health, how can he kill a person? I think so i should not jump to conclusions so easily, until i have a solid proof that he only killed abhi…god! Help me, show me a path that i can walk on! *she dozes off after drowning in thoughts* 

Vansh: Riddhima…*smiles* So she really dozed off after eating! *he finishes off the packing and takes riddhima to their room* 

Riddhima: *murmurs in sleep* I will come to you soon…don’t worry, i will..*the voice fades away*

Vansh: What is she talking about? Anyway i am also feeling sleeping…*he also sleeps* 

SCENE 4: Riddhima wakes up early in the morning..

Riddhima: Oh god! I dozed off last night, and now the packing! I told vansh not to force me, now i have to *she sees all the items packed* He finished off! He packed everything….

Vansh: I hope you are not angry anymore?

Riddhima: I am sorry, and also thanks for the help! *she sees him in a suit* Are you going somewhere?

Vansh: Oh yeah, i have some work, but don’t worry, i will be back by evening we can go and donate those gifts in the orphanage…

Riddhima: Wait, wait! You won’t be joining in the puja?

Vansh: I have never attended his puja and i will never attend also…

Riddhima: But why?

Vansh: Riddhima, please not again…
