CHAPTER 14: A NEW ENTRY IN RIDDHIMA’S LIFE?!

SCENE 1: Vansh is about to leave with Riddhima, when Kabir gets hold of her hand…

Kabir: She doesn’t have to go anywhere with you!

Vansh: Oh really?!

Kabir: Yes! She doesn’t like you, so why don’t you get that in your head!

Vansh: Well she clearly rejected you even,on your face, but still you seem to come every damn time!

Riddhima: Will you both please stop! I am not a tender of a project or i am not a piece at auction, that you both will bid for me! I am not going anywhere with you both! So please leave me!

She leaves…

Kabir: I am sad, that she rejected me, but i challenge you Vansh, i will never let her be with a monster like you!

Vansh: Ooh! Be careful with what you are challenging, because we both know that you will lose, so why do you want fall hard on your face, that too willingly!

Kabir: Because i am damnn confident, that you will lose this time….

Vansh: We will see about that Kabir…

SCENE 2: Riddhima comes to the office next day….

Vansh: You know right, you should take rest! but still you are here…

Riddhima: I was feeling alone in the home, so i thought to come over…

Vansh: You could stay at my house until, you feel good, dadi was also asking about you! And i even promised her that i will get you home….

Riddhima: Mr.Vansh, i appreciate that, but i don’t really want to be a burden for your family, and i will feel guilty for staying there without any work….

Vansh: Who said anything about skipping work, you can stay at my home and work! I will tell someone to send you the mails regarding the work and projects….so?! Will you come and stay…

Riddhima: Do i have another option!?

Vansh: No, not really!

Riddhima: Fine!

SCENE 3: Riddhima is in VR mansion, in her room…

Riddhima: I need to find the reports! To find Rishabh!!

FLASHBACK….

This flashback will tell you who is rishabh…and this is a continuation of the earlier flashback

Abhi: Are you basically like this only?

Riddhima: What do you mean by like this only?

Abhi: I mean always soo hyper and the fighting type?!

Riddhima: I will be honest with you! Since you seem like a nice guy….Actually i didn’t wanted to fight with you and i was about to let you go, but i was getting late for my office so i had to shout at you, but the fault was mine and i accept!

Abhi: What is your office name by the way?!

Riddhima: It’s DESIGN THOUGHTS ARCHITECTURE!

Abhi: Oh, good, but wait what work do you do there?

Riddhima: Right now, nothing, it’s my first day and i am an intern…and i heard that the project managers are soo strict about punctuality!

Abhi: Don’t worry, not all of them…

Riddhima: How do you know? Do you know someone there?

Abhi: Yes! Actually everyone, since i am also a project manager…

Riddhima: *gasps* I am really sorry, i didn’t…i know…

Abhi: Relax! Though you did wrong, you accepted it and you were honest with me so i don’t mind!

They reach the office.. and everyone is getting alotted into their respective teams…

Someone: And Riddhima mishra! There are actually two teams, so we will let the team leaders choose you

Riddhima: And whose teams are that?

Someone: Abhi and Rishabh’s team…they both are waiting in that room *points the finger in that direction* So they will check it, and mutually decide…

Riddhima: Ok…

Riddhima goes to the room, they are in!

Rishabh: Hello! This is Rishabh…

VATSAL SHETH AS RISHABH SHARMA

Abhi: *gives her a warm smile*  And i am abhi..

Riddhima: Nice to meet you both….

They see her qualifications….and discuss..

Abhi: Riddhima, please wait outside for 10 min, we need to discuss…

Riddhima waits…

Abhi: I will take her!

Rishabh: No, i will take her, i mean she is good and have you seen the recommendation letters given by her teachers?

Abhi: See i understand, but both of us want our teams to be good….and last time i gave away such intern and you gave your word infront of the whole office that next time, i can take the intern!

Rishabh: *rolls his eyes* I know, but right now my team has the least members!

Abhi: You owe me a lot! So this one time just back off! Otherwise, i need to directly take it to the boss, which is not good for you…

Rishabh: Fine take her!

Abhi: Thanks…

Abhi leaves…

PRESENT…

Dadi: Riddhima, may i come in?!

Riddhima: Dadi, please come in! 

Dadi: I know you are not well…

Riddhima: Dadi, if there is any work please tell me, don’t hesitate, i just don’t want to be treated like a patient…

Dadi: Fine, there is small puja in the house today, i was just feeling restless for vansh, so i thought this puja will give some peace to my  mind and heart….

Riddhima: Do you want me to look after the arrangements? Trust me dadi i am veryyy good at it!

Dadi: Thanks a lot dear, but if you are in pain, then you don’t need to do this…

Riddhima: It’s ok dadi, i am absolutely fine..

SCENE 4: Riddhima is in the hall, looking after arrangements…

Vansh: Why are you doing this all?

Riddhima: Dadi asked my help…

Vansh: Dadi, doesn’t know about your ankle pain…

Riddhima: And how do you know?

Vansh: After your little adventure of sneaking out of the window, it will hurt right?! I saw the cctv…

Riddhima: Anyway, it’s much better now!

Vansh: Take care..

Vansh leaves…

Riddhima’s pov: Why does he even care about me? I know about his brutal and ruthless side, so all this act as if he really cares, shouldn’t really bother me!!

Ishani: If you are getting high hopes that he cares alot about you and all, then don’t, because my bhai is already taken! He has a girlfriend, so don’t play your cheap middle class tricks on him!!

Riddhima: Oh, trust me, i am like least interested in loving someone like your bhai! 

Ishani: How dare you…

Dadi: Ishani! Why are you shouting in the puja room? 

Ishani: Dadi, you don’t know! What this..

Dadi: Ishani leave…

Ishani leaves

SCENE 5: Everyone comes down for puja in the evening…

Anupriya (Vansh’s mother): Wow Ma, the decorations are really good….

Dadi: I know, Riddhima took care of all this…

Ishani: Clearly! Afterall, all her cheap ideas are reflecting in our house…

Dadi: Ishani! Please atleast today, keep all your negativity outside the puja…

Vansh comes down…

Vansh: Dadi, i have some work, i will come home late…

Riddhima: Mr.Vansh this puja is kept for you, atleast come and pray once…

Vansh: *smirks* I don’t believe in your god! I believe in working hard…rather than sitting in a puja room and praying…

Someone comes from the main door and hugs Vansh…

A girl: Vansh! I missed you!

Vansh: Shreya?!

Shreya: I knew you would get surprised!
