A quest for the heart – Prologue

Hi guys, I decided to start this new story. It’s a little different compared to the other one I wrote but I will finish the other one as well. Just wanted to introduce this one too ❤️ Let me know how you all thought of it ❤️

She held my hand as softly as she could making my heart beat as fast as ever. The effect she had on me was intoxicating. One smell of her and I was out of control. One look at her and all my worries faded away. The wind was blowing gently on the setting sun. We stood there together hand held tightly but little did I know it was to be the last time I saw her again..

Present day 

Aakash – Riddhima come on. We are going to miss the plane.

Riddhima from the corner of the hall: I am coming, wait let me get the last of my bags.

Aakash turns to Kabir: What is it with girls and bags? (Rolls his eyes)

Kabir: Ugh we gonna be late, I’m going to wait in the plane.

He walks away. Aakash comes to Riddhima and takes her bag.

Aakash: Come on sis, I will help you with that, you my little sister can’t carry a bag (he laughs)

Riddhima: Stop teasing me bro, why don’t you keep your friend company in the plane. I’m sure Kabir is bored without you. You are always with him every day anyway.

They made their way to the gate and the attendant checked their tickets to let them through. Riddhima looked back towards the city she once called home and made her way behind her brother to start a whole new life.

12 long hours of flight later..

They arrived at the main gate of Mumbai and looked into the distance. It was busy and buzzing with people from every direction. Aakash led the way to a house, the front was decorated with flowers and a garden that was twice the size of anything she had seen with a big chandelier in the middle of the hall as they walked in.

Riddhima: Woah what is this place?

Aakash turned to Kabir and gestured him to tell the boss he was here. He got the message and headed inside

Aakash: Umm I have a friend that lives here. He well he owns a good amount of oversea company and is very rich (he was trying to hide his nervousness)

Riddhima; You alright bro? You seem a little out of character. Heyy where is that teasing brother of me gone (she laughs)

Aakash: Why don’t you go upstairs and settle in your room. It’s the second door on the left. No one will disturb you I promise the owner knows you are here with me.

She nods and takes her bags upstairs, when she was out of sight Aakash breathe a sight of relief.

Aakash (thinking): I know lying to her is for the best. I can’t put her life in danger like this. But I need the money. (He sighs)

Suddenly the door to the right opens and a man with glasses stood at the entrance. He was tall and had an army of men behind him. He signed the men behind him to stay and took one to walk towards him.

Aakash: Hii, you must be Mr Vansh Rai Singhania (he reached out a hand to shake it)

Vansh: Ahh I see you have heard of me. This is my right hand and personal bodyguard Angre. (He gestured to the guy standing next to him)

Aakash: Noted. I wanted to let you know my sister is staying in one of your rooms. You remember the deal we did over the phone?

Vansh: Yes of course but there is one thing you must know about Vansh. I hate cheaters. One sign of a cheat and I won’t spare your sister and the deal is off. Got it?

Aakash: Yes, you can trust me. I promise nothing will happen. The police will never find out and we will crack a deal in 3 weeks.

Vansh: That sounds like a good deal, you can’t stay here tho I’m afraid I still don’t trust you. Angre will take you to the nearest hotel. Your sister has my protection don’t worry about that (he snaps his fingers and Kabir comes up to him)

Aakash: Kabir is your man too?

Vansh: Why yes (he smirks) I had a man as your friend to keep an eye on you. But he is still your friend as long as you don’t do anything out of place.

Aakash nodded and followed Angre out the house.

Vansh (thinking): This deal better be done. I can’t afford having someone staying in my house like this. Hope she isn’t stubborn and will listen to some rules. I will send Ishani to her later.

He walks away and goes back to his study.

Precap: Vansh bumps into Riddhima and she starts to tell him off. He pulls out his gun but she doesn’t get scared and continues to scold him. Riddhima finds a job

Okay guys that’s it. It was a little short but it is a prologue before the first episode so I just wanted to set the scene before the actual thing. It’s a little different to the other one but hope you all enjoyed it. Any suggestions do let me know 😄
