A Quest for the Heart – Episode 8

Epi starts..

VR corp (10pm)..

Vansh saw Riddhima lying on the floor after saving her with her eyes closed. He knew she was scared and he was angry as to how she ended up there. He knelt down and picked her up in his arms and placed her on the sofa in his cabin.

He took some water and sprinkled it on her face and was relieved when she opened her eyes.

Riddhima’s POV..

I opened my eyes and saw a pair of worried hazel brown dark eyes looking down at me. He was my saviour, the one that didn’t let me down; the one that was there and the one that took a piece of my heart.

Back to present..

Vansh: Are you alright sweetheart?

Riddhima nods and tries to sit up, she was still a little weak and took the glass of water that Vansh had offered.

Vansh: What happened? How did you end up in there?

Riddhima holding her head: I don’t know, I was in my cabin doing some work when I heard a commotion outside and went to see, but by that time the lights had gone out and I felt someone hit my on the head, that’s all I can remember.

Vansh was angry listening to her statement. He tried to contain his anger and made a fist with his hands but hid it from Riddhima.

Vansh: I will blo*dy find out who did this Riddhima

Riddhima looked at him: Thank..thank you for saving my life again.

Vansh: Sweetheart, I assured you didn’t I that you will be save under my watch here. I am sorry for not being able to come earlier

Riddhima: It’s ok Vansh. The matter is you came. Btw I think I knew who could have done this.

Vansh: Who??! Just tell me the name and I won’t spare him/her

Riddhima: I think it was Kabir, he was the only one here when I was alone in the office and since the lights went off he was nowhere to be found.

Vansh was shocked when Riddhima took Kabir’s name. He started to think and weight out all the possibilities.

Vansh (thinking): I am going to lay a trap to see if it was indeed Kabir. He could have also been the one behind the lost deal.

Riddhima noticed him lost and snapped her fingers in front of him.

Riddhima: Heloooo?

Vansh: Come on sweetheart. I will take you home.

Riddhima got up and was a bit wobbly. She held Vansh’s arm as she steadied and walked out with him.

The next morning..

VR mansion (9am)

Vansh was in his study and called Kabir in.

Kabir: Ugh, you woke me from my sleep

Vansh: Kabir! This is important. Where were you yesterday in the afternoon?

Kabir: I don’t know. I can’t remember. But why are you asking me this all of a sudden.

Vansh: Riddhima was kidnapped and almost died and I lost a very important deal.

Kabir: Ohh I am so sorry (he smirked at the corner of his lip)

Vansh walked up to Kabir

Vansh: I am warning you Kabir, if I find the person responsible for this, even if it someone close to me, I will not hesitate to shoot. You got me?

Kabir smirked: Was that a warning ?

Vansh: It’s called standard procedure, I did this with all the men this morning. Now answer my question Kabir, DO YOU GET IT?

Kabir: Yes

Vansh: Good now get out

Kabir walked out.

Vansh (thinking): You fell right into my trap Kabir, this is the one mistake you have done to make me suspect you. I will soon know if you were behind Riddhima’s kidnapping and the lost deal. I will have tabs on your every move.

Kabir walked out of the house to catch his breathe, he was not expecting Vansh to be after him

Kabir (thinking): Has he really suspected me? Oh no I need to make a back up plan.

Precap: Riddhima offers Vansh to be friends and Vansh gets closer to catching Kabir
