A Quest for the Heart – Episode 22

Episode starts…

Riddhima and Ishani stopped by the gate as they saw Vansh waiting outside. She turned to Ishani

Riddhima: Listen, I have an idea, you stay here and wait for Angre, he should be here soon and I will start going to Vansh. You probably know the way since Vansh has been there a few times already.

Ishani nodded and said: Thanks Riddhima, go go and don’t worry about me. I owe you

Riddhima: Nah, you don’t owe me anything. Just a hug

She giggles as Ishani hugged her. Riddhima then went over to Vansh

Vansh: Wow you look beautiful

Riddhima: And you have said that twice in one night. Has the fierce Mr Vansh Rai Singhania gone soft?

Vansh: Haha very funny. Can’t a man compliment his date?

Riddhima: Just kidding Vansh. Thank you.

She reached up on her toes and gave him a peck on the cheek. He was shocked and just stood there.

Riddhima: Umm Vansh, are we going?

Vansh: …

Riddhima: VANSH!!

Vansh: Huh? Oh yes, come..

Riddhima: You are acting very strange Vansh, are you sure you are ok?

Vansh: Perfectly fine (he smiled)

Riddhima (thinking): Was that my imagination or did he just smile?

She giggled as he held her hand to guide her towards the car as they drove away.

Back inside VR mansion..

Ishani was waiting for Angre as she saw him emerging from the corner.

Angre: So sorry I am late

Ishani: No problem. Vansh bhai and Riddhima just left.

Angre: So we are alone?

Ishani: Yep (she laughed)

Angre: Shall we?

He held out his hand as they made their way towards the same direction as Vansh and Riddhima had gone earlier but did not notice Anupriya was standing by the door and had saw everything.

She pulled out her phone and tried Kabir’s number.

Anupriya: Damn it! He isn’t answering. Oh I know, I will call Ahana.

She dialled her number and let it rang.

Ahana (picked up): Hello?

Anupriya: Hi Ahana, I was wandering if you knew where Kabir was?

Ahana: Yea I do, what is it aunty?

Anupriya told her about Kabir’s plan and told her to pass a message to Kabir about both of them leaving.

Ahana: Okay maasi. On it. Thank you

She hangs up

Back to RiAnsh..

Riddhima: So where are we going?

Vansh: I thought I told you?

Riddhima: Yep, farmhouse right?

Vansh: Haan haan

Riddhima: But Vansh, I am hungry

Vansh stopped the car and then looked out.

Riddhima: What happened?

Vansh: Look, theres a nice restaurant there. Wanna go?

Riddhima: No, Vansh, I am not even dressed appropriately for this fancy place

Vansh: Come on sweetheart, you trust me na?

Riddhima nods.

They made their way in the restaurant but missed seeing Kabir as he slipped from the back door towards one of the waiters.

Kabir whispering to the waiter: You know what to do?

Waiter: Yes sir.

He handed him a bottle and some money.

Kabir: here is the advance, don’t disappoint me.

The waiter nodded and waited for everyone to be distracted between a music break and poured the contents of the bottle into one of the glass drinks. He noticed Riddhima walking in with Vansh as they sat on the table at the far corner and walked up to them slowly.

Waiter: Sir, mam, these drinks are complimentary for all visitors before the meal. Hope you enjoy.

He placed one clear glass of whiskey to Vansh and a glass containing the contents to Riddhima.

Waiter: Anything else, please let me know.

He walked away to behind the bar.

Vansh was looking at Riddhima as she took her glass to drink. She took one sip of the drink as Vansh flipped it on the floor.

Riddhima: Vansh! What are you doing?

Vansh looked towards the waiter in an angry mood.

Precap: Vansh bashes the waiter into revealing the truth as Riddhima starts to feel the effect of the contents  she had drank even if it was only a sip.
