A Quest for the Heart – Episode 18

Hi all, I won’t say sorry again because I am always giving the same excuse but finally my exams are finished so I am able to write more. My holidays are also coming so I will write more often, this is a promise. Let’s get on to the story now.

Epi starts…

Riddhima and Ishani was in the room when they heard a noise coming from outside.

Ishani: Did you hear that?

Riddhima: Yes, what was it?

She was about to get up to go and have a look when Ishani grabbed her hand

Ishani: No don’t, it may have been a cat, there are a lot of them nowadays that come in the house

Riddhima: Okay, if you are sure.

Ishani nods..she did not know what was there but did not want Riddhima to leave her alone.

Meanwhile outside the room..

Anupriya tried to listen in to more of their conversation but could not, just as she walked away, her phone rang.

Anupriya: What news do you have for me?

Aakash (on phone); It was you who had news for me. I can’t believe my sister would hang around that Vansh. What does she even see in him?

Anupriya: Did you call me to talk about your sister’s love life or are you going to help me get Kabir out?

Aakash: Alright alright. I have a plan on how to get Ishani and Angre in front of Vansh on their date.

Anupriya: Keep talking..I am listening.

Aakash tells the plan in mute..

Back to Riddhima…

Riddhima walked up to the door and noticed that the door could not be locked due to the fact that Vansh had shot the door handle.

Riddhima giggled and thought: This man can never get anything done without violence. How am I going to lock the door now?

She decides to go to Vansh room to ask him about her door but didn’t know which direction his room was in. As she walked down the hallway, she bumped into Angre.

Angre: Hi Riddhima

Riddhima smiled: Angre, hey you are just the person I needed to see.

She grabbed his arm and pulled him aside.

Angre: Heyyy! What are you doing?

Riddhima: I need to ask you something.

Angre: This is not the way, if boss saw you grabbing my arm do you know he will go mental?

Riddhima: Ooo possessive much..

Angre: Umm ignored what I just said. Bol kya puchna tha (say, what did you want to ask)

Riddhima: Phele promise you will tell the truth

Angre: Ok

Riddhima: Do you like Ishani?

Angre: Wh..what..

Riddhima: Just answer the question Angre. Its simple yes or no

Angre: Yes..I mean no

Riddhima was confused..inside she knew Angre too had feelings for Ishani.

Riddhima: Yes or no?

Angre: I am not answering it. It is not appropriate and even if I did, she is boss’s sister, he is going to kill me if he finds out I liked her…

Riddhima: Omg you do like her.

Angre: Um no no..I don’t

Riddhima: Come on Angre, just admit it.

Angre: Fine, yes i do but i can’t go near her, she is out of bounds.

Riddhima: Listen I have an idea.

Riddhima tells Angre about the plans for dinner and he nods happily.

Riddhima: Don’t worry about Vansh. I will deal with him

Angre: Thank you so much Riddhima.

She smiles and nods and is about to walk away when she forgot to ask Angre about Vansh’s room.

Riddhima: Angre, wait. Where is Vansh?

Angre: He is in his room.

Riddhima: Where is his room? I needed to ask him about my room door look at the way he shot at it.

Angre laughed.

Angre: Down the hall and first door on the left.

Riddhima: Thank you and remember the plan.

Angre laughed and turned (thinking): I forgot to tell you he doesn’t have a shirt on..

Angre: Ehh, she can deal with it. (He laughed and walked away)

Riddhima walked down the hall and turned to the left. The door was open so she walked in without knocking.

Riddhima: Vanshh??

Vansh was working out and lifting some weights when she walked in. He did not have a shirt on and could only see his chest. Riddhima realised he was shirtless and quickly turned away and her cheeks began to turn red.

Riddhima: S..So..Sorry

Vansh finished his work out and then walked up to her with a towel.

Vansh: Its okay sweetheart (he winked as she turned around)

Riddhima: Can you please put a shirt on?

Vansh: Whyyy? Not enjoying the view?

Riddhima: Shut up Vansh..

Vansh laughs: OK wait give me 2 minutes.

He walked over to the bed and grabbed a shirt and then wore it.

Riddhima: Are you decent now?

Vansh: I am always decent. But yea you can turn around now

Riddhima: Thank god…

Vansh: So why did you drop by here? I can’t remember that it was your job to come in my room too.

Riddhima: Chill will you..I just wanted to ask what are you going to do about my room door.. I can’t even lock it. See the way you shot at it, even the handle came out.

Vansh: Well I had no other choice, how did you expect me to get to you with a locked door?

Riddhima: Stop with the sarcasm will you (she giggled)

Vansh: Don’t worry I will get it fixed. For now you are welcome to share my room if you want (he winked again)

Riddhima: Omg Vansh, no! That is not the way, you are such a flirt.

Vansh: Only for you

She blushed.

Vansh: Fine you can share Siya’s or Ishani’s room. Pick the one you want.

Riddhima: Thank you so much Vansh, I will go to Siya.

She walked towards the door and pulled the handle but ended up falling on the floor. Vansh ran to her.

Vansh: Are you alright?

Riddhima: Yea I am fine. (she grabbed his hand and he lifted her up)

Vansh: What are you doing?

Riddhima: Trying to get your door open. I think you need to get every door in your house fixed, see this won’t open too.

Vansh: Wait let me try..

He walked over and pulled the handle but the door would not open.

Vansh: Should I shoot it again? (he smirked)

Riddhima: NOOO!!

Vansh: So what do you propose to do?

Riddhima: Like this isn’t the first time I am stuck in a room with you. Where is your phone?

Vansh: Its somewhere…

Riddhima: Seriously Vansh, tumse kuch nahi ho payega. (you can’t do anything)

She shook her head as she started to look for his phone..

Precap: Riddhima and Vansh end up spending the night in the same room and next morning Dadi and Siya finds them together.
