A Quest for the Heart – Episode 16 (Riddhima vs Kabir)

Hi all, how are you? I am back. I hope you remembered me. We left the story on a cliffhanger right? So sorry about that haha. Let’s continue.

Epi starts…

Kabir slowly opened the door of the cupboard in Vansh’s office and looked out the door. He saw Vansh with his back towards him and saw Angre walking towards the back of the house. He needed to get out and see Riddhima. He knew the back of this house from his hand since he has worked there for many years.

Kabir (thinking): I need to find a way to get Vansh distracted and then go upstairs.

He noticed a paper weight on the table and took it to throw it out the window. Vansh heard the noise and went outside to look. Kabir took the opportunity and hurridely walked upstairs to Riddhima’s room. It was locked but there was a window towards the side of the room so he made his way inside.

Meanwhile back downstairs..

Vansh: Angre!!!

Angre came running

Angre: Yess boss?

Vansh: Any news on the intruder?

Angre: No..no boss but what are you doing outside?

Vansh: I heard a noise so I came to look, there’s nothing here, it may have just been a cat.

Angre: Okay boss, should we go back inside to look?

He nodded and followed Angre inside from behind but was thinking that something was wrong because he knew it may have been a trick.

Back upstairs in Riddhima’s room

Riddhima came out of the bathroom and was shocked seeing someone in her room.

Riddhima: AHHHHH!!

Vansh and Angre could hear her from downstairs and quickly rushed upstairs and stopped outside her door.

Vansh: Riddhima! Open the damn door.

There wasn’t a noise inside that could be heard as Riddhima was still standing shocked. Kabir turned around and gestured her to be quiet.

Riddhima: What the hell are you doing here?

Kabir: Come on love, didn’t you miss me? (he smirked and started walking towards her)

Riddhima: Stay away from me!

Kabir stopped: Fine, but you need to help me get out of here. Those two at your door is going to break it down anytime soon.

Riddhima: I wouldn’t mind, its Vansh’s house. he can do anything.

Kabir: Riddhima!! Stop it right now and get me out of here.

He started walking towards her again slowly.

Riddhima: Don’t come near me Kabir, I am warning you.

She saw a vase on the table next to her and picked it up.

Riddhima: I am not scared to use this. Either find your own way out and get out or prepare to bear the wrath of Vansh Rai Singhania.

Kabir: You think I am scared of him?

Riddhima: Well you should be, I have seen his anger.

Kabir: Haha! You don’t know the half of it. Come on love, come with me, I will take you far away.

Riddhima: Stop living in dreams Kabir, get out!

Vansh outside the door was trying to get Riddhima to open the door and could hear the commotion going on inside but he couldn’t get the door to open.

Vansh turns to Angre: Stand back

He takes out his gun and shoots the handle. All stood shocked on hearing the noise and turned towards the door.

Angre: Boss..

Vansh: Shut up!

Vansh walked into Riddhima’s room with a gun in his hand and looked at Riddhima who was staring at the person in front of her with a vase in her hand. He placed a gun towards the person and then spoke.

Vansh: Turn around now!

Kabir was caught but he wanted to escape. He slowly turned around and Vansh was shell shocked looking at him

Vansh: So it was you! I should have shot you blank the last time I saw you.

Kabir: Is that the soveunier you are going to give me now?

Vansh: Bakwaas band karo Kabir (stop with your nonsense)! Remember you are the one standing in a girl’s bedroom with no regards of her privacy or even that you are roaming around my house.

Kabir: This is my house too you know..

Vansh: WAS..

Kabir: What do you mean?

Vansh: Did you really think I was going to give you back your job after you freaking back-stabbed me and now this.

Riddhima walked up from behind Kabir and turned him around.

Vansh: Sweetheart, what are you doing?

Before he could finish, Riddhima slapped him hard on the face.

Riddhima: That is for hurting Vansh.

She slapped him again.

Riddhima: That is for going against Vansh

She slapped him one more time

Riddhima: And this is for walking around his house and threatening me and putting all of us in danger.

Vansh smiled while looking at Riddhima and admired her for being brave.

Kabir: Riddhima! You are going to pay for all of that.

Vansh: Not so fast mate, if you remember you are still standing on my property.

Kabir looked at Vansh pointedly and mumbled: Dekh na Vansh, you will get everything back.

Vansh turned to Angre

Vansh: Lock him up with Hang

Kabir: Hang is here too?

Vansh: Awww you miss him already? Jao jao he is waiting for you in the basement.

Angre grabbed Kabir by the arm and pulled him out of the room. Vansh placed his gun back in his back pocket and walked up to Riddhima.

Vansh: Are you alright sweetheart? He didn’t hurt you did he?

Riddhima: Calm down Vansh (she giggles) I am perfectly fine. And you know I am not afraid of guns, did you forget how we first met?

Vansh laughed and then pulled her into a hug.

Riddhima was shocked at first but hugged him back. She felt her heart jump out of her chest as she was holding him against her. She did not want to let go. The title song plays as they stayed in each other’s embrace for a long time.

Vansh broke the silence: Waise you did good by slapping him

Riddhima laughed: That was what he was getting for messing with what’s mine.

Indirectly Riddhima had just admitted that Vansh was hers as well. Vansh noticed it but did not say anything as they continued to hug.

Precap: Vansh threatens both Kabir and Hang with Anupriya thinking of a way to free Kabir. Ishani and Riddhima becomes friends while she admits her feelings for Angre.
