A Quest for the Heart – Episode 10

Hi all I am back, I think my story is very boring maybe that’s why I don’t have the motivation to write but I will continue here and hoping you all will still like it 🤗

Epi starts..

That same night (10pm)

Riddhima bumps into Vansh near the pool area, she saw him dressed up in all black and wandered if he was going out.

Riddhima: Vansh, are you going somewhere? I know it’s not any of my business but I am worried for you

Vansh couldn’t believe what he had just heard but felt touched as Riddhima said she was worried about him. He made her sit down near the edge of the pool and knelt down near her.

Vansh: Dont worry sweetheart. This is my daily job, it comes with a lot of risk but it also has rewards. Today is Kabir’s last day.

Riddhima: You going to catch him tonight?

Vansh: Yes, now actually

Riddhima: Okay Vansh but pls be careful. You are probably used to the job but your sisters and family is at home think about them.

Vansh: And how about you? (He winks)

Riddhima blushed: Umm, ye.. yes of course me too (she smiles a little)

Vansh just then gets Angre’s call.

Angre (on phone): Boss everyone is in position, we are staking out. Nobody knows we are here. Kabir is nowhere to be seen. What’s our next move?

Vansh: Dont move Angre, I will be there in 5

He hangs up and loads his gun as he walks out.

Riddhima still sitting by the pool couldn’t stop worrying for him, she didn’t know what was this feeling that he had never experienced before.

Riddhima (thinking): I need a distraction. I wander if Siya is free.

She walks away and goes towards Siya’s room.

Back to Vansh..

Vansh pulled up by the abandoned building 5 mins later and looks around. He spots Angre near the bushes and goes up to him.

Vansh: Everyone ready?

Angre: Yes boss.

Vansh: You sure he will be here?

Angre: 100% boss, his call logs were made to a person living here.

Vansh (through an earpiece): Alright, everyone stay in position.

10 mins later..

Vansh and his men saw a car coming up towards them in the distance, they looked up from their hiding spot and saw the driver driving in through the gate and into the car park. Kabir stepped out.

Vansh was angry just by seeing his face but he had to control himself. He waited until Kabir went into the building and came out from hiding.

Vansh: Angre, go through the back and I will go up front, take the rest of the men and use the side entrance. Go now!

Angre nods and does as he is told.

Vansh had a hand over his gun as he moved forward towards the entrance. He broke the door down and standing in front of him was Kabir and Hang both looking shocked up at him with his gun pointing right at them.

Vansh: So this was your plan? To go behind my back and make me lose everything? Why Kabir why? Even after I have given you so much, a home, a family, WHY??!

Kabir was still in shock while Hang tried to run but was caught by Angre from behind. He was bundled into the back with the rest of Vansh’s men while Angre stayed with Vansh to confront Kabir.

Kabir: Well well well, finally the famous Vansh Rai Singhania is not so useless after all.

Vansh: How dare you!?

Kabir: Cool down dude, would you like some whiskey?

He reached out on to the table and poured himself a glass.

Kabir: No? (He smirked)

Vansh: I want answers Kabir! NOW!

Kabir: Fine, you want answers I will give you some, Yes I was the one who made you lose the deal and I was also the one who kidnapped Riddhima.

Vansh was so angry he pulled back and loaded the gun aiming at Kabir.

Vansh: TELL ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDNT SHOOT YOU NOW

Kabir: One is that you will never know why I did it.

Vansh: Dont test my patience Kabir. Just answer the damn question.

Kabir was getting angry too: Yes! I did all of it! I was jealous of you. You had everything and what did I have? Nothing. Just to follow your command. I don’t want to be your puppet!

Vansh: Why did you kidnap Riddhima and nearly killed her?

Kabir: Ahh Riddhima, innocent and beautiful, you see she was getting in the way, the only thing I could do was to do what I did. Don’t tell me you have started to have feelings for her?

Vansh: Shut up Kabir!

Kabir: Oo I hit a nerve didn’t I, I have to admit she is beautiful. I wouldn’t mind making her mine.

Vansh: That’s it.

Vansh walked up angrily to Kabir and punched him hard. He fell onto the floor and looked at at Vansh who was about to shoot.

Kabir got up and took out his own gun. He backed away slowly towards the door and was about to run, everyone heard a gunshot and everything went black.

Precap: vansh returns home late at night a little injured and Riddhima gets shocked to see him. She tends to him.
