A quest for the heart – Episode 1

Hi all, I’m so glad you all loved the opening prologue of my new story. So here’s episode one. Hope you all enjoy it. Happy Valentine’s Day 🤗

Epi starts..

Riddhima’s POV 1 year ago..
Let go off me! You have no right to touch me. I should have left you from the day I saw you but I was helpless with this job. You will see I will run away one day and you will never be able to find me..

Back to present..

Riddhima woke up from her nightmare sweating very badly. She was scared that the person would have found her again. She never told anyone, not even her brother the way he treated her. She gently rolled out of bed and went for a scroll around the house.

Riddhima (thinking): This place is huge, who even has that much money to buy a house like this. Wow there’s even a pool.

It was dark when she was walking and suddenly bumped into a figure. She looked up and saw hazel brown eyes staring down at her.

Riddhima: Ouch, excuse me! Can’t you see where you are going?

Vansh: Ohh madam, you are in my house.

Riddhima: And who the hell are you?

Vansh was angry as never before did someone verbally took him on before. He reached out for a gun in his pocket and took it out to point it at her.

Riddhima wasn’t scared, she stood with her arms crossed looking at him.

Vansh: I don’t think there’s a need to introduce myself. Watch that tone of yours before I shoot.

Riddhima smirked: I dare you to shoot, you have anger issues. If you are not going to introduce yourself then I will. I believe talking is the best to problems don’t you think?

Vansh (thinking): She is brave I will give her that.

He didnt load the gun, it was empty and he just wanted to scare her but clearly that wasn’t working.

Riddhima: Fine you aren’t going to say anything? Well I’m Riddhima, Aakash’s sister and living in this mansion of yours for no reason.

Vansh slowly pointed his gun down and looked at the girl standing in front off him. The light was dim but it highlighted her features beautifully. She was wearing a white nightdress that was swaying with her body. She was beautiful and he couldn’t take his eyes off her.

Riddhima realised he was staring and walked up to his ear. She whispered.

Riddhima: Hasn’t anyone told you, it is rude to stare. (Smirked)

Vansh cleared his throat: Um sorry about that, just to let you know, if you want to walk around the house I would suggest you bring a stick to hit someone. The mansion is covered in secrets. Who knows you might get lost (he winks)

Riddhima rolled her eyes and walked away leaving Vansh standing there lost in his thoughts.

Vansh (thinking): I never realised a girl could be that beautiful.

He slaps himself.

Vansh(thinking): Stop it god damn mind, remember the deal. She will be out of your house in 3 weeks. I just have to deal with her stubbornness. Ugh. I’m going back to sleep.

He walks lazily into his bedroom and shut the door. He couldn’t stop thinking of riddhima as the thoughts turned around in his head. He covered his head with a pillow and tried to go to sleep.

The next morning..

Riddhima is in her room. She was thinking of the man she saw yesterday. She couldn’t tell much about him,but could tell he did some dangerous business. She was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Riddhima: Come in

Ishani: Hii, I’m Ishani, Vansh’s sister.

Riddhima: Umm hi, who is Vansh?

Ishani looked at her and bursts out laughing

Riddhima: What happened? Did I say something wrong?

Ishani: No, no, the house which you are staying in is owned by my brother Vansh. He hardly comes out of his study or room like before but anyway, you will meet him soon. Here I brought you tea.

Riddhima: Thank you..

Ishani nods and walks away. Riddhima thinks who was that man yesterday she had met? Was it Vansh? Why didn’t he say anything?

Precap: Riddhima goes out and gets a job in one of Vansh’s company, she comes face to face with him again
