In this story Sai realizes that she made a mistake by marrying Satya as she cannot fall in love with anyone else other than Virat. She tries to explain her situation to Satya however fails miserably everytime. Finally, Sai decides to express her feelings to Virat however before she could do that, Virat gets his transfer and goes to Chandrapur which is a base for several naxalite activities.
Chavan Nivas
Sai had come to the Chavan Nivas to meet her children after Virat had left for Chandrapur. Vinayak and Savi see Sai, run to her and break down in her arms. Sai tries to calm her children who are anxious about their Baba’s wellbeing. Sai to her children, “Don’t cry my munchkins; nothing will happen to your baba. He will return safely and reunite with you both.” Vinayak, “But Aai what if something happens to baba?” A chill ran through Sai’s spine and she quickly cups Vinayak’s mouth with her hand saying, “No baada, don’t say like that, I will bring back your baba.” Savi, “Aai, how will you bring back baba when he has gone to another district?” Sai reflects for a moment and decides that she will go and meet Virat in Chandrapur however she chooses not to reveal about the same to her children. She tells them, “You both don’t worry; your baba will be with me when I come to meet you both the next time.” Vinayak and Savi look at her confusedly. Sai kisses her children, wipes her tears, turns around and leaves.
Chandrapur, Virat on duty of catching some naxalites
There were noises of guns and bombs heard everywhere. Virat in his bullet proof costume and a gun in hand instructs his fellow officers on how to accomplish his mission. The officers listen to his instructions and hide but soon there is a bomb blast heard next to them. All cautiously fall to the ground. Virat quickly gets up and shoots some of the perpetrators however some of them manage to escape from his bullets and run. He is about to follow them when Inspector Kadam comes and informs him, “Sir there is someone who has come to meet you.” Virat berates him saying that they are standing in the middle of a battlefield and he doesn’t have time for meeting anyone right now. Virat is about to leave when Inspector Kadam stops him saying, “Sir it’s your ex-wife Dr. Sai Adhikari and she told that it is something really important.” Virat was stunned to hear that Sai had come to meet him there in the middle of all the chaos. He hands over his gun to Inspector Kadam instructing him to take the lead for a few minutes. Inspector Kadam nods while Virat rushes to the room for visitors.
Inside the visitors room
Sai is sitting nervously on a chair with her hands folded with each other and legs constantly shaking. Virat enters and rebukes her saying, “What was the need for you to come here? Don’t you know how risky it is?” Sai, “Virat you can scold me later. I have come here to take you back to Nagpur.” Virat frowns at her saying, “Are you out of your mind Sai? You are asking me to leave my duty halfway and return home? Don’t you know how important my duty is for me?” Sai, “Yes I know Virat how important your duty is for you. But don’t you also have a duty towards your family. Vinu and Savi are extremely worried about you. If not for anyone else please return home for them.” Virat irritatedly, “Listen Sai, I’m in the middle of a mission and am not going anywhere leaving it halfway. But you should return because this place can be life threatening for you.” He turns around and is about to leave when Sai catches his hand and says, “No Virat, I’m not returning without you.” Virat asks, “What right do you have to stop me? You are not my wife anymore.” Sai was startled to hear those words and was freezed to her position. Virat frees his hand from her and goes out into the battlefield. Sai runs behind him and shouts, “I have the right to stop because I LOVE YOU Virat.” Virat was appalled to hear that. He turns around and stares with mouth agape at Sai. Sai continues, “Yes Virat, I truly wholeheartedly love you and cannot live without you.” She then folds her hands and begs him, “Please return home Virat!!” Tears roll down Virat’s eyes as he gives out a smile however his smile turns to anguish on noticing one of the Naxals behind Sai who was about to throw a bomb towards them. He runs towards Sai screaming, “Move Sai!!!” Within a minute, Virat catches Sai round her waist and jumps. The bomb blasts right at the spot where Sai stood however Virat manages to flee from the spot with Sai cuddled in his arms. Both of them roll downslop from the place where they had been standing with Sai getting hurt on her hands, forehead, stomach and back. Finally when they reach an even ground, Virat quickly stands up and shoots the naxalites killing them. Inspector Kadam and the other officers come running towards Sai and Virat hearing the gunshots. Inspector Kadam, “Sir, Madam are you alright?” Virat nods in agreement however when he turns towards Sai, he was surprised to see Sai all bruised. He gets concerned and tries to tend her when Inspector Kadam tells him, “Sir you can take Ma’am to the visitors’ room and dress her wounds. We will take care of the rest of things here.” Virat asks him, “Are you sure Kadam?” Kadam nods. So Virat takes Sai in his arms and goes to the visitors room.
Visitors’ room
Sai was in pain after getting wounded severely from the fall. Virat brings the first aid kit and asks Sai to forward her hands. Sai gradually forwards them to him. Virat takes out the antiseptic on cotton and starts cleaning her wounds. Sai quivers in pain. Virat cautiously bandages the wounds on her hands and goes towards the wound on her forehead and blows over it. Sai feels his breath and stops quivering. After Virat bandages the wound on her forehead, Virat asks her, “I believe you are feeling better now.” Sai lets out a feeble “aah” as her back was aching. Virat goes towards her back and starts cleaning the wound when both feel a sudden shiver. Virat hesitantly cleans the wound on Sai’s back. After bandaging the wound on Sai’s back, Virat asks her. “Is that all or are you hurt anywhere else too?” Sai half-heartedly looks towards her stomach. Virat unconsciously bends down and touches her stomach. A thrill passes through both their spines. Virat and Sai keep gazing into each other’s eyes as Virat’s hand felt Sai’s stomach. Shortly, Virat leans forward and keeps his lips onto hers. Sai doesn’t resist and gradually loses herself in the taste of Virat’s lips and as the time passes by Virat and Sai forget all the barriers between them and become one by making love.
Early morning
Sai opens her eyes and smiles finding herself in Virat’s arms. She goes closer to him and kisses his forehead. Just then there is a knock heard on the door. Sai quickly dresses herself and goes to open the door. As she opens the door, she was shocked to find Satya standing in front of her.
