Sanskar: What were u doing inside?

Swara: ( inner voice: Why should I tell?)

Sanskar:(sighing) fine don’t tell.

He entered her room closing the door.

Swara: I didn’t ask you to get inside.

Sanskar: Shekhar uncle told me to feel this as my own house. Therefore I don’t need your permission.

Sanskar: When did you buy these many chocolates.

He asked pointing at the pile of chocolates. She put them back into the box not wanting to answer & even if she want she don’t have an answer.

Sanskar: If someone asked u to eat chocolates to put on weight as u are thin don’t believe them. They are just buttering u.

That sentence surely had a different meaning. What the! Did you just ! She looked at him in anger.

Sanskar: What! I’m just telling you the truth.

He told placing his hands inside his pockets.

Sanskar: huh! Why do people always get angry on those who say truth?

Swara  ( hurt): Yeah right. A day or two ago u told  that I’m interfering in your life & that’s the truth. So I’m angry at you. Happy!

Sanskar:hey, I was just…..

Swara: If u are finished please leave.

She opened the door & moved to her cupboard not caring about him.

Sanskar: Let me explain.

Swara : bye.

She said arranging her novels not knowing that he was only a few inches back & with that reply he came close locking her hands at back.

Sanskar: What were u saying?

Swara: What the! Leave me.

Sanskar: shut up here I’m not getting ideas on how to cool you & u are misunderstanding everything.

Swara: Why do u care?

Sanskar: Shut up let me think.

Swara: leave me it’s paining.

Sanskar: Wow! I thought I’m giving  a massage.

Swara: first u hurt me with words & now with hands!

Sanskar: It is far better than silent treatment.

Swara: Do u atleast understand  what are u talking?

He made his grip strong around her eyes.

Sanskar: ofcourse why will u understand! when it was me who beared the pain. How many times did I call you, huh! I literally begged u to talk to me.In the initial years  Sharmishta aunty used to think that we both are talking but who knows that only I was talking, u are just mute all the time. Later years u never lifted. u have no idea how painful it is.

After a few minutes of silence his phone rang. Setting her free he answered it.

Sanskar: ha Sharmishta aunty , how are u?

That word caught her attention. Why was her mother calling him.

Sharmishta: I’m fine beta, tum kaise ho?

Sanskar:( smiling ) fine aunty, anything important?

Sharmishta: nahi I’m calling Swara from long but she is not lifting.

Sanskar: Oh here I’m giving it to her.

He handed over the phone to her.

Swara: ha maa

Sharmishta: Why are u not lifting?

Swara:( low voice) It’s in silent mode I’ll call later bye, ma

Sharmishta: ruko talk now only then u will listen to me.

Swara:( almost whispering) ma not now pls.

Sharmishta: No listen to me u are attending a function day after tomorrow.

Swara: kya? Ma not again.

Sharmishta: understand Swara it’s important actually ur dad & I are supposed to go but he got some work.

Swara: then u attend na.

Sharmishta: Swaraa it’s in Mumbai only by the way we couldn’t attend their son’s marriage & they are wishing to see you since long time. So it would be good if u go. I already informed them.

Swara: Maa plssss.

Sharmishta: give the phone to Sanskar.

She handed over the phone to him.

Sharmishta told everything asking him to make sure she attends the marriage.

Sanskar: ji aunty, teek hai, bye.

Sanskar: aunty asked me to take you there.

Swara: I don’t know the address.

Sanskar: I do.

He said going away not wanting to talk about the other recent happening s but not b4 giving her a big chocolate. She was confused but took it atlast .

Evening:

Laksh was watching a movie in the hall whereas Sanskar was working on his laptop putting his legs on table.

Swara: hey Laksh

Laksh: Oh my god U are talking nicely.

Swara: Are u telling me that I never spoke well.

Laksh: any doubt!

She through a cushion at him only to get hit by the same one.

Laksh: What goes around comes around.

Swara: didn’t expect that dialogue from you.

Laksh: I’m unexpectable sweetheart.

Swara: Yeah, who would expect that u can’t hear your mobile ringtone when it’s ringing continuously.

Laksh  : Oh shit.( on call) Hey dude What’s up.

Things have become awkward once again as Laksh went out.

Swara: hey

There was no reply. May be he didn’t listen. Should I say it again. She thought biting her lips.

Swara: hello

Sanskar: Oh hai I thought I won’t come out of the room.

Swara: hmm.. So

Sanskar: so?

Swara: U know what I want to say.

Sanskar: How would I?

Swara: that’s not hard to guess I mean after what happened morning it’s pretty easy.

Sanskar: so u came to warn me to not  enter your room.

Swara: What made u think that way.

Sanskar: U were so pissed about that so…

Her face became dull but his smile grew larger. Huh! He was teasing. Idiot.

Swara: U were teasing me na

She started  throwing cushions at him.

Sanskar: stop I only wanted to see your reaction. No other intentions.

She kept on throwing them.

Swara: didn’t you get any other topic to do so!

Sanskar: It is fun to see u get angry.

Swara: idiot.

Sanskar: don’t u find any other word rather than idiot.

Swara: What do u want me to call donkey!

Sanskar: I’m fine with it if u agree that u are a monkey .

Swara: seriously! U aren’t affected by what happened in the morning .

Sanskar: I got habitat.

Swara: I’m sorry I  thought that u will forget me & everyone went away suddenly so made a stupid decision to not to talk with you.

Sanskar: hmm.. we’ll talk about it some other time. Now tell me where did u get those chocolates from?

Swara:( biting her lips) I don’t know.

Sanskar: Matlab?

Swara: Matlab some one delivered it.

Sanskar: Who sent?

Swara: No idea. Why are asking this much?

Sanskar:  dumbo a 21 year old, good looking girl with a perfect job & not so bad height gets a pack of chocolates  &
u are asking why I’m asking that much.

Swara: Some old friend might have sent.

Sanskar: Oh yeah today  is your birthday na to send those!

Swara: Why are you talking to me as if
I know that person.

Sanskar: U know him.

Swara: Who?

Sanskar: tumhari favourite lucky.

Swara: Lucky!
