Made for Each other – Episode 5

They both sit silently for a minute without doing anything.After that Richa starts saying again with upset tone…
“Why all these are happening with us Gauri?We both have never dreamed of any grand wedding….We just thought that we will have a happy marriage…. we thought we will be the most happiest person on our respective wedding day.But see our fate….the person whom I loved so much had swing back from the marriage just on the saying of his brother and now his brother is blackmailing you using me.I have given my everything to Mukesji and in return he doesn’t have at least this much courage to stand for me.Our fate is so bad…You have feed your uncle unty doing day and night toil so that they don’t ill treat your mother but they betrayed you….because of their greed for money they sold you to Kali Thakur.That Kali Thakur using your mother made you agree for marriage. I still feel horror thinking that what if he was successful in making you marry with him and his brothers! If that day you weren’t able to escape or if Omkaraji hadn’t married you then…(She trails off imagining horrible future)I don’t know what happen between you and Omkaraji but I can see love in your eyes for him. I heard that you were saying he hates you…Gauri what has happened?You can share with me…you know that right?”

“Nothing Richa…leave all these.Tomorrow is your roka and we have a lot of work to do.” She says trying to ignore the topic.
“Don’t try to change the topic Gauri…. From what I know you were happy in your in-law’s house,they treat you like their own family and Omkaraji loves you(Hearing this a small bitter smile apeared in Gauri’s lips which stayed there for some seconds before disappearing but Richa wasn’t able to see it as she was busy in trying to know that what has happened with her friend…) Masiji(Gauri’s mother) said that you were living there as princess….. and few days ago also when you came here you were so restless to go back to your husband. Earlier your world was revolved around your mother only but then I notice that Omkaraji has made an equal place for himself in your world….Your restlessness for staying with him and love for him was so visible and cristal clear then what has happened in just 3 weeks time? One week ago when you came back again you said that your husband has sent you back to take care of your mother…You know what Gauri, if I say honestly I felt jealous of you for a moment that you have this much lovely in-laws and this much lovely husband…. Maybe it’s my bad sight that fall on you …sayad hamari hi najr laggayi…
Now I understand why your husband wasn’t with you on your karwachauth day….you were covering for him….What has happened Gauri please say me ….two weeks ago you were so happy to go back to your husband but then suddenly everything got changed… Gauri if there’s any misunderstanding regarding something, we can clear it by speaking….You know that he is still your husband and he is from rich family so maybe we can take his help to deal with Ajay ….We can….”
Gauri knows if she hears Richa more then she is going to break down and she has to stay strong so she stops Richa from saying more. Richa was going to say something more but Gauri stands up from her place and then looking toward Richa with fake liveliness says….
“Stop stop yaar…People say I talk a lot but you know what if you speak like this more… then surely you are going to break my record… and how much you will blame yourself? You know what you can enroll your name in ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ in blaming yourself …Apno ki najar nahi lagti pagli…Now go and get fresh…. I have to make Dilpreetji’s breakfast ….he is leaving today.” Clearly intentionally ignoring Omkara’s topic saying these Gauri run from there without giving a chance to Richa to say anything more.
