2 DAY BRIDE SWASAN (Prologue+Chap 1)

Prologue:

Swara is looking at the mirror seeing the red colour on her forhead which continuously reminds her of being an unwanted wife. Sanskar comes to that room.

Sanskar: Look, ok tomorrow we will go to court and get divorced.

Swara: The papers won’t remove a relationship so easily.

Sanskar [holds Swara’s throat]: Listen, you don’t have the right to say anything, otherwise I will f**k you so hard.

Swara: I dont care… Everything wont go your way. I married you for the sake of my sister. Dont forget.

Sanskar [puts up middle finger]: b*t*h, you need to f**k off from my life…

He slaps Swara. She falls on the ground and cries. She bleeds heavily.

Characters:

Swara Sanskar Maheshwari/Swara

She is an orphan and grew up in an orphanage. She is independent, bold and has a high self esteem. She is close with Ragini, her best friend cum sister. She knows how to fight for her rights.

Sanskar Maheshwari

He is an arrogant, rude and angry young man. He is a business tycoon and cares about his reputation a lot. He can go to any extent to get what he wants. He is self centred but when it comes to his family when he can do anything. He considers Swara as his slave.

Ragini

She is fun, loving and caring. She grew up with Swara in the orphanage. She loves studying and wants to be a doctor.

Laksh Maheshwari

He is fun loving. He has no interest in business. He loves his family but he is a flirt and a casanova.

Marriage

A girl in her bridal clothes. She was sad. She repeatedly phoned someone.

Girl [Going side to side]: Karan phone uthao please.

Karan answers the phone call.

Karan: Kav baby, go to the balcony

The girl goes to balcony. She sees Karan waving. She disconnects the call.

Girl [trying to talk quietly]: Karan you are here?

Karan: Yes [passes a rope]: take this rope and hang it to the raillings.

The girl hangs the rope to the railling. She comes down. She kisses Karan.

Girl [Kissing passionately]:I love you Karan.

Karan [carressing the girls hair]: I love you too. [Begins kissing everywhere]

They both ran away.

Sanskar is waiting for his bride on the mandap.

Sanskar [To servant]: Is your Kavya mam ready?

Servant: I will go and check sir.

Servant knocks on the door.

Servant: Strange, no sound or anything. I will go and inform Sanskar sir.

Servant goes to Sanskar.

Sanskar [To servant]: What did Kavya say?

Servant: Strangely enough, she isn’t answering. I knocked a few times but no answer.

Sanskar quickly goes there. He knocks continuously.

Sanskar [knocking and shouting]: Kavya! Kavya!

Hearing no answer he starts banging the door with his body. Other join. They succesfully open the door and see no one there. Sanskar sees a rope.

Sanskar: Rope? Meaning Kavya escaped!

Everyone gets shocked Kavya’s parents come there.

Sanskar: Mr and Mrs Singhaniya look what your daughter just did, she escaped!

Mr Singhaniya [Gasping in surprise]: What!?

Sanskar: Now what? What will people think that a reputed family’s daughter escaped!

Mr Singhaniya [begging]: Sanskar please! I beg you please do something. I wont be able to face the society.

Sanskar looks away in disgust. Mr Singhaniya gets rat poison.

Mr Singhaniya [threatning]: If you dont do anything I will drink this!

Sanskar: Mr Singhaniya what are you doing! Ok fine, I will do something.

He phones his employee.

Sanskar [To employee]: Urgent, in 15 mins I need a girl whom I can marry if you dont bring her, you will be fired! Understood!

Employee: Ok sir…

After 15 mins…

A girl comes to Sanskar.

Girl [trembling]: What do I have to do sir?

Sanskar [passing a lehenga]: Wear it, and come to the mandap, you have to get married with me dont worry its only for 2 days.

The girl takes the lehenga and wears it. She cries constantly.

Swara passes by and sees a girl in lenga crying.

Swara: What happened? Are you okay?

Girl: I am okay!

Swara: Dont lie! What happened tell me!

Girl: I have to marry Sanskar as his bride escaped but I cant because I promised someone I would only marry him. But my father, in greed wants me to marry Sanskar.

Swara: Really? I cant believe Sanskar can do this. You know what, I will help you escape.

Swara takes the girl to the same balcony Kavya escaped from. The rope was still there.

Swara: Climb down the rope okay?

Girl: I dont know how to thank you, I will always be indebted to you!

Swara: Stop talking and just go!

The girl climbs down. Sanskar goes to the same room the girl was. He sees no one there.

He phones on of his employees.

Sanskar: Check the CCTV footage and tell me if the girl in lehenga escaped or not.

Employee: Just checking [Sees Swara helping the girl escape] Sir, you secretary helped the girl escape.

Sanskar: What!

Sanskar disconnects the call. He goes to Swara and slaps her.

Sanskar: Did you help her escape!?

Swara [Terrified]: What are you talking about?

Sanskar: You know well what I am talking. Look at this [Shows Ragini who is getting out of college] My mens can shoot her any seconds.

Swara [Begging]: No please no!

Sanskar: Get this lehenga and get ready you will sit in the mandap with me!

Swara cries and takes the lehenga. The lehenga was red with golden decorations. Swara wore the jewellery. She was unable to stop crying. She looked herself being a bride.

She remembers her and Ragini playing with dolls.

Flashback:

Swara was decorating her doll which was about to get married. Ragini was decorating the groom

Swara [To Ragini]: Ragini?

Ragini: Hmm…

Swara: I will look like this when I will get married right?

Ragini: Yup, or perhaps more beautiful.

Flashback Ends…

Swara: Ragini, I wish you were here… I cant believe I am getting married but for 2 days and without my permission. I am a 2 day bride…

Precap: Swasan get married. Sanskar tortures Swara on Suhaag Raat.
