Avni – Uncle….good morning! [She runs and hugs Ashish]

Ashish – Arey Avni ..how come ur up so early? It’s usually Ragini who comes to me every morning!

Avni – oh! ..I thought I was the second one as usual. Why? ..Am I first to hug you today?..where’s di ?

Ashish- I don’t know. Is she not there in your room?

Avni – Nahi na uncle…

Ashish – strange ….Ragini…beta Ragini ..[ashish calls out aloud]

Meanwhile someone walks in the terrace ..Dressed in blue colored salwar-suit ..with bangles in hand & anklets in the legs ..The wind blows heavily ,she moves the string of hair which falls on her eyes & then feels her fingers are wet with her own tears .She goes & leans against a wall & slowly brings her hand forward & looks at the pic & says :-

Ragini – Happy birthday papa..[ her tears fall on his picture] ..

Meanwhile …she hears the voice of her sister & uncle calling out for her..

Ragini – Gosh…they’re coming here…main kya karoon …is tasveer ko kahan chupaon? . [She tries to quickly hide the picture behind her but…before she cud]

Ashish – Ragini you’re here!…thank God..& what is that in your hand??

Ragini -Nothing uncle…nothing at all..

Avni- Di!…don’t hide. Show us na..

Avni pulls the picture & sees it & becomes still…Then Ashish takes it and sees ..

Ashish- Oh.. Shekhar’s picture….

Ragini – Nahi uncle…I was just…

Ashish – You don’t have to give me explanations beta..I know its Shekhar’s birthday today….

Avni – Oh yes!…main papa ki birthday kaise bhool sakthi !

Ragini – Uncle…I’m sorry main is tarah terrace main aakar…I’m very sorry. I don’t know what u must be thinking about me..

Ashish – Its ok Ragini. there is nothing wrong in you remembering Shekhar, because even if I try to fill your dad’s absence …I still cannot give you what his presence can. right?
Ragini wipes her tears & hugs him…

Avni – Now will you both please stop with your emotional talks. Before my ears burst!

Ragini – Avni.. .[Pari calls in a stilled manner] shut up!. .[and they all laugh]

Ashsih – Ok..now let’s go down…I think its going to rain.

Ashish, Ragini and Avni walk down meanwhile it starts raining heavily…

Neil – Ah!…I love rains! [says Neil with his hands outside the window] ..what about you bhai??

Neil – Bhai I’m talking to you! Its raining..& its lovely isn’t it?

Neil ;- Bhai are you dead…or something???

Sanskar – Not so early Neil

Neil – ah..I wish you were..

Shweta – Neil! what are you blabbering? and pulled his ears

Neil – Ahh,. Sorry Ma.. I was just kidding…he takes all my girlfriends away. So what do u expect me to say ?

Sanskar – I never take them from you. They come to me on their own [Says Sanskar lying on his bed with a novel in his hands]

Neil – Nothing there to feel so proud of bhai! …. mera din bhi aayega

Shweta – ah!. .you both will never change! [says Shweta & walks out of the room]

Neil – bhai you seriously don’t like rains?

Sanskar – nah..

Neil – why?

Sanskar -They bring nothing other than slush in the roads.

Neil – Gosh!. You are that typical. …forget it!…rains should be admired. You know what they call rainy season as??….they call it as “Pyaar ka Mausam”. ..&
Sanskar- and also as Slush ka mausam
Neil- Bhia ..how can u? I mean how someone could don’t like rains.
Sanskar:- Shut up Neil ..before I start beating you

Neil – ok ok…I will not start with my love stories ..but you tell me.. you seriously don’t believe in love?

meanwhile …

Ragini – No Avni..I don’t ..Love cannot be described. It’s a feeling. It should be felt.

Avni – kya di.. how do you know it’s just a feeling? unless you’ve felt it ..how can you be so sure??

Ragini -why?…have you felt it…

Avni – Nahi di I haven’t..

Anvi – but…

In the evening…

Ragini – Avni … I’m going to the DVD library…do you want to come along?

Ragini went walking all alone on the road ,a set of drunken men rode past her in a jeep & took reverse & stopped by her side..& started teasing her for a ride. Ragini began to feel uncomfortable…. she didn’t know where to move… meanwhile a Toyota corolla sped the road & stopped past her. Ragini saw a very well-dressed man getting out & walking towards her. he came in front of her and said

Stranger – Diya.. where were you??…

Ragini is confused & asks him softly ..

Ragini -Diya??

Then he comes to hug her… she moves aside he catches her tightly & whispers into her ears..

Stranger – Act smart & save yourself from them..

Ragini understands his intentions & says

Ragini – Oh Sanskar!…I’m sorry I’m late…

Stranger – Shall we leave?..

Ragini- She nods uncertainly & gets into his car..

The gang of drunken men look at them & then depart…She sees behind & says..

Ragini- Thank you thank you very much..

Stranger -Its ok…

Ragini – Many I know your name?

Stranger – Sanskar

Ragini laughs & says.. Oh no.. I mean ur real name…

Sanskar laughs in return… my name is Sanskar, Sanskar Singh Rathod

Ragini looks a little amazed & then says..

Ragini- oh…I’m Ragini, Ragini Mehra

Sanskar- Hi Ragini.. where do I drop you ?..

Ragini – Oh no… I’ll manage..

Sanskar- please.. no formalities..

Ragini- ok….Movie buzz DVD library..

Sanskar – I was heading there too!

Ragini felt strange about such a co-incidence. She thinks “How can his name be Sanskar ..whereas I just imagined b’coz I had to.. or maybe a real co-incidence…then how can he too be heading to the same library to which I was” …is he trying to …before she finished thinking. The car stopped all of a sudden & the road was quite deserted…

Sanskar- Oh no…the tire is punctured!
