Chapter : First night

“Neil…?” Avni called out coming out of the restroom wearing a red silky nighty to find her husband vanished. Maybe he too went out to change into night suit she thought and went out near the windowsill.

The day was quite hectic but she was happy,happy to be able to live with her one true love, to get married to a man who loves her to moon and back. smiling dreamily she touched her mangalsutra delicately remember how happy she felt when Neil declared his love for her infornt of everyone when they blamed her of having an extra martial affair with ali.He was the only one who stood for her against everyone even his bebe. The content she felt when she realised Neela ma was right, her love wasnt doomed.. it was RECIPROCATED!! and the bliss she felt when they got remarried again in court with DD and Neela ma as witnessess..

“Red suits you.” Neil whispered against her ears making her jump out of her wits end..

“Neil…you almost killed me” Avni said with a heavy breath trying to slow down her hearts speed.

“Oh! am really sorry for that but now you are killing me with your savange looks dear wifey.” he smirked seeing the effect he was having on her as he traced the contours of her trembling lips with his rough fingers .

“NEIL..” She managed to whisper as he came way more closer.”

“Hmm..” he said absentmindedly as he stared at her lips with pure passion and love and gently kissed her on her shoulder.

“STOP!” She said pushig him away reluctantly.

Neil stood agaped at his wifes action, an hour before she was happily kissing him, then what happened now? was she not ready? was he rushing things ? if yes then he would not get physical with her until she gets ready. but right now he needed to know the reason behind her hesistance.

“we cant do this” she said firmly almost killing herself by voicing the words out.

“Why?” he asked frustrated.

“Because your family still havent accepted our relation?
dont you think we should wait till then. ”

This is it? She was rejecting his love for the people who questioned her character …like seriously? He thought n got more angry.

“okay fine then. if this is it. am going and sleeping of the couch. there is no point in staying here. ” he said with hurtful eyes.

“But neil” she said feeling guilty.

“no avni you care for others but you dont care about your husbands feelings.. theres no point in arguing here. m going. GOOD NIGHT. ” He said stompig away.
