S: Hey, I have this great idea. (Sahil whispers something in Gauri’s ear.
O: What is he saying to her? Is it about me?
G: Such a good idea, let’s do it. I know I win though.
Gauri walks towards the car.
O: She is coming here.
He takes the hoodie and puts it on.
O: Gauri, please do not come here. Please do not come here!
He was about to start the car but then she stops. She turns around.
G: Sahil, I am ready! Let’s do it.
O: Do what?
He leans to the right to see what is going on.
Sahil throws the Gol Gappa and Gauri runs to catch. Gauri goes backward and without realizing, falls backward on Om’s car. She then falls on the floor and the Gol Gappa lands on the driver side of the front window.
O: OMG! What the hell? (And then he realizes Gauri is on the floor) GAURI!!
Gauri looks around.
G(Thinking): Did someone call my name? It cannot be him. What would he be doing here at Bareilly. He would never come here as it will remind him of me.
Gauri lifts her elbow and can see a huge gash on her arm. It was bleeding severly and she was crying.
O: I need to go out and help her. (Om puts the hand on the handle but then takes it back.) I cannot. If she sees me, I will ruin her happiness. She came here to have fun and reduce her stress.
Om opens his window and calls out to Sahil who was helping Gauri. Gauri was in pain so she did not notice as there were other people that were helping her out.
O(His window was slightly open): Here, use this for her wound.
Sahil takes the kit to her and Gauri looks at him with eyes filled with pain.
O(Thinking): Gauri, please do not cry. I want to just run out and hug you. Caress you so you do not realize your pain. But, I cannot. Please, I cannot see this.
He starts the car and leaves. Sahil picks Gauri up and makes her sit on a chair.
S: Next time, do not do anything stupid like this.
G: Me, stupid… It was your idea. Where did you get the first aid kit from?
S: From him…
Sahil pointed to the place where Om’s car was parked but it was not there.
S: There was a car parked there and he gave it to me. And, if you think about, he was the same person who honked at us and told you to put your feet in the car. I did not see his face but I recognized his voice.
G(Thinking): So I was right. He was with us ever since Mumbai and why do I feel like Om is with me.
