S ix long years have passed and she had not heard even a single message from him. In this world where no one is hidden from the virtual world of social media, she could not find even a single account of his name in any of the so call popular social media platforms. How can a person change just like that? How can someone break a relationship of 15 years with just a message?

“I am going to London, for how long I don’t know for what reason I don’t know, but I know just one thing I will never let you down, you won’t feel embarrassed because of me because I will come back as a very successful person I promise. Till then I just wanna say…..I…Forget it…Take care…Don’t look for me…Have a happy life…Good bye…”
From six long years this message has been saved in her phone. She did not have the courage to delete this message. This is the only little of him she had…of his first friend, of his best friend, and of his first love….Sanskar Maheshwari…

Ragini was 5 years old when their family shifted to Kolkata from Jaipur. Being from a well educated middle class family Ragini had the best upbringing anyone could wish for. She and her younger sister, Swara were the apple of her parents eye and thus they always got the best from their parents. Their parents had enrolled them in the best school of the city where Ragini met Sanskar for the first time.

On the very first day of the school Ragsan were allotted to sit together and Ragini shared her lunch with him, never did they knew that they will become best friends after that moment and share their life for next 15 years. They were inseparable till the first year of college, best buddies who always supported each other, fought many times but never let any misunderstanding come between their friendship. Everyone who knew them or saw them always thought that they were more than friends always together, always at each other back. But were they?? No, never they were always best friends nothing more until the fateful day when she realized her love for him but even before confessing lost it forever.
Ragsan always supported each other in every matter except for one topic – their career. On one hand Ragini was very good in studies and wanted to pursue a career as a successful Charted Accountant as she wanted to make her parents proud, Sanskar on the other hand, hailing from a very big industrialist family was least bothered about his future. He was very lazy and never gave importance to work in his life which led to the differences between him and his father, Mr. Durga Prasad Maheshwari, a very strict and disciplined person. Ragini always tried to motivate him to do something in life, to be focused in life but he never paid attention.

It was two days after their college party that had changed Ragini’s life completely. Like many times she visited the Maheshwari mansion to see his best buddy and tell him about her completion of IPCC first group. She was very happy as she cleared the first group in first shot and was eligible for internship. But all her happiness vanishes the moment she came face to face with Sanskar dad.
