Heyy guys this is my second ff totally off track.. I started writing it as an original story but then decided to make it a shivika ff. This will focus entirely on shivika with little bit of other characters here and there.
Also I will try to post my other ff ishq sukoon hai rahat side by side and will try to finish it asap

THE RANA MANSION
a young guy in late twenties dressed in formals is sitting on a couch in his bedroom drinking black coffee and reading newspaper with a wide smirk apparently quite pleased with a certain news when a girl maybe a year or two younger to him enter his room with a beautiful and genuine smile. good morning sid she wished him in a chirpy voice. the boy looked up his smirk replaced by an affectionate smile wished her back good morning anika what a surpise… i swear i was thinking about you only. come have some coffee.
A- sure thanks bro… well Mr Rana now that you are engaged you should think about your fiancee not me
Si- really Miss Raizada.. fiancee doesnt mean I forget my bestie cum sis right
A-ok fine I agree

they both laugh and share a high five
Si-but you here in morning whats up
A-nothing really I just completed my latest assignment you know the grand party at the Malhotras so just thinking about a break
Si-so planning to head back to london.. meet uncle aunty
A-Nah not this time.. I am planning to go on a solitary trip somewhere nearby maybe to mahabaleshwar and like a common person you know just anika not anika singh raizada. I am so excited really
Si- you are not serious are you
A-ofcourse I am.. you know sometimes you should leave behind your ego and this high society tag and just explore the real world
Si- you and your philosphies.. as you wish anika just take care of yourself coz you have a great affinity for trouble
A-really well I guess that here your records are better than mine anyways I will take care
Si-Well gotta go see you in the evening and Mom Dad are leaving this afternoon lets party in the evening what say
A-done but your meetings and stuff
Si-actually I am really happy today plus I need a break too
A-as you wish.. I gotta go too will just wrap up my work and plan my trip
Si- how long?
A- not decided but maybe a week i guess.. bye sid
she quickly hugged her best friend and in her usual style ran down the staircase skipping stairs giving goodbye kiss and hug to her fav uncle and aunty, grabbed her car keys and left
THE OBEROI MANSION

The last two days have been nothing less than a nightmare.The eldest son of oberoi family..ShivaaySingh Oberoi’s engagement with Miss Tia Kapoor was called off just an hour before the start of the ceremony. well this was really a big embrassment for the oberois esp Shivaay. The Shivaay Singh Oberoi considered NKK the biggest criteria for judging a person but this girl having NKK eloped just before the engagement.. true Shivaay agreed to marry her only for business merger and never really loved or cared about her but still she was well educated had good family background so he thought she might make a good partner and as long as his company was having profit it was just fine for him. but this didnt happen Tia realised that she loved someone else and so the engagement was called off and Shivaay had to face a lot a embaressment… media got a hot topic and all newspaper printed all the crap affecting his image, his company’s image. It was really hard for shivaay to handle coz rejection was something he never really faced and this also shook his NKK ideologies.
Shivaay just didnt feel like going to office his mind was still preoccupied he was questioning himself, his thoughts , his principles. thankfully his family understood that he needed time and so they gave him much desired solitude so that he could introspect.

It was lunch when his brother finally came to talk to him
O- I know you are really hurt after what happened
S-(calmly)- no I am not.. just a bit upset. trust me It may sound weird but actually I am glad this engagement was called off.. though I am still pissed off at how this news was presented
O- really but you considered Tia perfect
S- honestly I never loved her.. practically she wasnt even my friend and yes I did say she was perfect coz you know she fulfilled the criteria which I thought were imp in my life partner but now I really wonder whether the parameters I chose were actually required or not
O- what do you mean
S- I mean i just judged people by their lineage , bloodline , their family name but never really cared about the person but now I think I realised that NKK maybe imp but theyy dont really give you the actual picture
O-I agree. so you are ok.. feeling better
S- I dont know.. I really dont know. I am upset not because the engagement was called off but because I am the only person responsible for this situation
O- come on shivaay stop blaming youself for every bad thing plz
S- no seriously if I got engaged to a girl whom I knew as a person.. or loved or atleast was frnds with.. if I judged a person as whole in an unbiased way without giving much importance to NKK this situation wouldnt have arised
O- Shivaay..
S- you know Om I think I need some time alone… there is so much to introspect, to think about.. this ordeal made me realise I need to change my thinking
O- right you need a break.. why dont you go for a vacation
S- you are right thanks om you are a genius..
O- can I give you an advice
S- advice?

O- you wanna change your thinking right then why dont you go and experience the real world
S- real world?
O- yeah.. travel like an ordinary person experience the real world.. consider yourself just shivaay not the Shivaay singh oberoi
S- i guess you are right om.. I think I will go to lets see.. mahabaleshwar and this time I will be just shivaay
O- good choice bro
S- I think I will take a break for abt a week.
O- Cool you deserve it. Anyways lets hope you find a perfect girl while you are there
S- bro I am not thinking abt this getting married stuff for a long time now and yeah I do need to change my thinking agreed but love is something I dont wanna even think abt atleast right now.
O- as you wish
O-(mind) I just hope you find true love soon enough… because you deserve it.
