After a long evening full of romance and surprises, The Solanki family went back to their nest. Their send-off happened with so much of respect. Everyone was very surprised; the one who was the most surprised was Karan. He could not understand his father. Why was he doing all this? A man who never cared or bothered about others, never respected anyone properly gave a zor ka jhatka for the first time (to Karan) when he accepted for Kunal and Meghna’s wedding and now the amount of respect he was giving the Solanki family. However he did not take it very seriously.
Kunal and Karan missed their favourite girls of the Solanki family very much after the Solankis left. Especially Karan, because he had proposed Naina for marriage and she accepted too.
Karan and Kunal were in their room. Both of them were in their respective dreamlands.
Karan: Bhai! I proposed to Naina today.
Kunal (suddenly out of dreamland): WHAAATTT!!!!???? You are turning out to be a chupa rustom.
Karan (smilingly): And she accepted.
Kunal: Amazing Bhai! Let me do one thing, I will make a video call right now and we will talk to them, especially I want to speak to my Saali. I want to tell her something.
Karan: Good idea.
Kunal makes a video call to Meghna. Meghna picks up the call.
Meghna (tensed): Hi Kunal, we were with each other all this time and now you have made a video call again?
Kunal: Arey, but now I want to talk to my Saali.
Meghna (stammers): But, Kunal…..
Karan: What happened Bhabi?
Meghna (makes up an excuse): Actually, actually Cheeku has fallen asleep already.
Karan: What?
Kunal: Karan, what did you do that she has been feeling that tired.
Karan: Bhai! Chup.
Kunal: By the way Meghna, not only our engagement was today’s special.
Meghna: What do you mean?
Karan: Bhabi, I proposed to Naina today.
Meghna (acts): What??? Seriously!!!
Karan: Bhabi, I thought Naina would have told you.
Meghna: I told you na, that she was very tired that all the way she came sleeping.
Kunal: Pata nahi dono milke kya kar rahe the ki Naina tak gayi.
Meghna: Kunal, just shut up.
Karan (confused): Bhabi, is everything fine?
Meghna (fumbles): Of course everything is!
Kunal: Okay then, I will call you tomorrow Meghna, you too go and sleep. Good night mangetarji. Love ya!!!
Karan: Bye Bhabi!! Aur meri taraf se na Naina ko ek goodnight kiss de dena! (winks at her)
Kunal hits his head.
Meghna (laughs): Tumhari taraf se? Hmmm…. Okay guys goodnight!
The Call ends.
Meghna turns back. She looks at Naina who is sitting and crying on the couch.
Meghna: Cheeku, please stop now. Stop crying!
Naina: Di, let me cry atleast the burden in my heart will reduce. Just look at my condition. Today I am supposed to be really happy. Karan proposed to me and I agreed to marry him but what happened after that has just let my heart sink.
Meghna: Cheeku, please. You know how Badi mami is!
Naina: I do. And I also know that she is not bad, she is good at heart but she just does not like me, she hates me. But if she mocks at mumma because of me I cannot tolerate that.
Meghna: I know Cheeku.

ON THE WAY BACK:
Naina, Meghna, Asha and Sharda are in one car with Asha in the front seat and the rest in another.
Meghna: Mumma, I am really happy today.
Sharda: You will be. After all you have got engaged to the boy you love, you trust.
Asha (mocking at Naina by looking at her through the mirror): Good will happen only for good people.
Naina feels bad. She looks at Sharda and Sharda holds her hand as if consoling her and giving her strength.
Naina (secretively to Sharda): Mumma, I am also really happy today, for two reasons.
Sharda (silently): Two?
Naina (silently): One is Di’s engagement and the other is…….
She shows her ring to Sharda.
Sharda: Karan……
Naina (a bit loudly): Yes mumma, Karan proposed me for marriage today!
Asha and Meghna hear that. Naina realises what she had done. She looked at Meghna and noticed that she was staring at her anger.
Naina: Sorry di, I wanted to tell mumma first.
Meghna (fakes anger): Cheeku, don’t talk to me. You did not find it important to tell me immediately.
Naina: Di please.
Meghna smiles at her Cheeku and hugs her tightly whereas Asha was bursting out with anger.
Asha: Please stop the car!
Sharda: Bhabi, what happened?
Asha (to driver): I said stop the car.
Driver stops car and she gets down. The trio also get down behind her.
Sharda: Bhabi, what happened?
Asha: What is so happy about this? (Pointing to Naina’s finger)
Sharda: Bhabi, Naina and Karan love each other. So today by accepting to get married to each other they are taking their relationship on the right track.
Asha: Wah! Sharda Wah! What a forward thinking. Even I am like you only but I think I am more understanding than you.
Sharda: What do you mean bhabi?
Asha: Tumhari yeh beti Naina, hamari Meghna ki jeena haram karna chahti hai!
Naina: Mami, what are you saying?
Asha: Just keep quiet!
Meghna: Mami, what you are saying is not right. Cheeku can never think anything like that for me. I know her the best.
Asha: Meghna, why are you still so innocent. Don’t you understand her plans? Once she gets married to your Devar by her fake sweet gestures she will make that family against you and you will slowly be eliminated from that place. She will try to take your place.
Meghna (cuts her): Mami, bas. Bahut ho Gaya. Kuch bhi anab shanab bol rahe ho aap Naina ke baare mein. I cannot tolerate all this.
Naina: Mami, I don’t know why you think that way about me. Why will I want to do such a thing that too with Di?
Asha: Then where did this sudden love emerge from. Falling in love within a few days! Wah! Talent…..
Sharda: Bhabi, Karan and Naina and genuinely love each other.
Asha: Oh come on Sharda, stop thinking about this bundle of bad luck. Today also I thought that if I ask her to join the others in the next car she will not come to the function understanding what I said but she did come.
Meghna: Mami, kuch anhoni hua?
Asha stands silently!
Meghna: It is your thinking. According to me Naina is my lucky charm.
Asha gets furious on hearing that.
Asha: Meghna beta…..
Meghna (cuts her): Mami please….. I think its high time we go back now.
Sharda: Meghna you are right. It is not right for us to keep standing here in the night and talk nonsense.
They all get in the car and leave. Naina had never felt as hurt as she was then before. She felt like there was going to be an emotional outburst anytime inside of her. She felt like a volcano waiting to erupt not with anger but with pain. She wanted to go back to the hotel as soon as possible as she wanted to go to her room and cry her heart out.
Meghna very well understood her sister’s feelings. She promised herself that she would not leave Naina alone that night atleast. She knew she would die from inside.
They reached the hotel. The others had already reached as they came from another short route.
Naina runs to her room and Meghna runs behind her. She tries to calm Naina down. After sometime only she sees Kunal’s video call. She looks at Naina. Meghna goes to cut call.
Naina: Don’t cut the call, Jeeju will feel bad. Talk to him. If someone asks about me tell them I am sleeping.
Meghna: Cheeku, but…..
Naina: Di, please….

IN CHAUHAN HOUSE:
Karan (thinks): How come she slept this early? That too today? Here I am awake dreaming about her and there she is sleeping soundly? Something is wrong.
Kunal: Karan, Naina itni jaldi kaise so gayi?
Karan: Nahi pata Bhai!
Kunal: Arey tum log humse aage toh nahi nikal gaye?
Karan: From that time you are just clinging on to that point. Nothing like that happened Bhai. Actually it sounds really crazy to me too. How did she sleep that early?
Kunal: Arey, sach mein tak gayi hogi!
Karan: Hmm….. Could be.
Kunal: Okay Bhai goodnight.
Karan: You too…
They get ready to sing duets in their dreams with their love.
