PART – 16
Hello everyone, this is Tanz back with part-16 of my ff. Thank you all for your comments, they encourage me a lot. Again late….I am really sorry for that. My coaching has started due to which I get really less time for this but I write whenever I get time,in parts, that’s why the update is late. I hope you understand. So, without further ado, let’s start with this part.

Recap – Annika : “Thank you so much Shivaay for everything. Maa told me about your meet some time before and how you consoled her . This is probably the happiest day in my life. Thank you so much .”
Shivaay : ”Wait a second, what did you say?”
(I didn’t know how to summarize this convo )
Annika : ” What did I say?”
Shivaay : “ You said something a few moments ago…Remember?”
Annika : “Thank you so much?”
Shivaay : “No…before that..”
Annika : “Umm…this is the best…”
Shivaay : “No…before that…”
Annika : “Maa told me….”
Shivaay : “No Annika before that…”
Annika : “ Thank you so much Shivaay…..oh I get it now , I called you Shivaay that’s why you were surprised…right?”
Shivaay : “Yes…(slowly)are my ears ringing?”
Annika : “ No. they are not. I’ve decided to call you Shivaay from now on. Also,from the last few days you were begging me to call you by your name so that’s what I’m doing…”
Shivaay : “hey…I beg no one …understand…”
Annika : “ I think you forgot that video- conference meeting , one week ago….your meeting with Mr. Rathi …when I came inside by chance and called you…Bill… ”
Shivaay (irritated): “Ok. That’s enough Annika…Don’t you remember we agreed to talk about that matter ever again…(slowly) I think you are the one who has problems in remembering things…hmm..”
Annika : “I’m sorry did you say something SHIVAAY ? I hope you won’t force me to change my decision…”
Shivaay’s POV
I couldn’t argue further after all it was a matter of MY respect in front of my business associates. What if she called me “Billu” again …Oh no….For now, It’s better to surrender otherwise it won’t take her long to change her mind. So , calming down the little bit of fake anger , I spoke,with a hint of sarcasm ,friendly sarcasm “Thank You So much Ma’am . I’ll be ever debted to you forthis kind act of yours . I hope that was what you wanted?”
I couldn’t figure out if she couldn’t get the sarcasm or she chose to ignore it. Whatever it might be, I am safe from her scoldings and that’s the best thing. She just smiled at me and calmly said, “ Perfectly. Who wouldn’t want that the Shivaay Singh Oberoi apologizes to them….but I don’t think anyone was able to do so. So, you see Shivaay , in short I’m great . And, I’m quite sure there will be no one in the future who can do this. “ , she ended her boasting with a bright smile which seemed to brighter than the lights in the hall . I literally had no reply for her bantering. All I could do was smile in response. Perhaps, it was true that there was, is and will be no in my life like her .
She went back to her gossip- group and began chatting with them. I watched them from some distance. I don’t know why, butwhenever I see her my heart fills with happiness which I can’t explain . I didn’t tell her now and maybe I won’t tell her in the future too that when she spoke my name , it gave me a soothing feeling. It was quite strange as I have never felt this way.I feel that we have an inner connection with her, a strong inner connection. My heart pains when she is sad, like yesterday and my heart is overjoyed when she is happy. And lately, I’ve been thinking about her a lot, almost every time. See, again… I’m thinking about her. I hope all these are not symptoms of something bad. I have to find a solution for all this. Soon…Maybe Daadi can help…but when she’s alone…now, let’s go to office.

A worried Shivaay rushes to his room, for the fear of not to be seen in such a state . Because he has no answer for his state. Soon, he leaves for his office and returns in the evening after a hectic day. After freshening up, he goes straight to Daadi’s room to clear his doubts . He knows that at this time, Daadi would resting in her room, alone and he has the best chance now. He enters the room and sees that Daadi was watching some yoga program on the TV and he quietly goes and sits near her and then Daadi closes the TV as she could sense something important was at hand .
Daadi : “ Billu you came from office…good…Do you want to talk about something…come on say…”
Shivaay(hesitantly) : “ Umm…Yes Daadi, I have some questions which I want to ask ….not about me ….about a friend ….he asked my advice….so I’m asking you…”
Daadi : “Ok…I’m all ears…”
Shivaay : “ So Daadi…this friend of mine…his name is…(thinking for some time)…Raj…So, Raj was complaining about how he thinks about his friend, a girl….almost everytime and he feels that he has some strong connection with her. He says he can feel her pain…how silly… and he always feels happy whenever he sees that girl…But he’s confused…He can’t figure out what all this means, so he asked me…and as you’re so experienced I’m asking you on his behalf…What does all this mean?”
Daadi : “Hmmm…What’s the name of the girl?”
Shivaay :” An…Anita…yeah, Anita. I thought I would forget it…So, what does all this mean ?”
Daadi : “This is a clear indication that you…I mean your friend has become an ishqbaaz….that he has fallen in love with that girl…An…(smiling)…Anita….”
Shivaay : “ Love ? What if Raj doesn’t believe in love, then what Daadi? Maybe all of this is just a confusion…maybe he’s confused about his feelings?”
Daadi : “ Puttar, you can believe me without any second thoughts…I’m experienced as you yourself said….And if still there’s some confusion…ask your friend to close his eyes and definitely he will see her in front of him….Ok? and there’s no one in this whole wide world who would not believe in love, remember this. “
Shivaay : “ Maybe you’re right Daadi….I’ll tell him. Thank you for clearing my….I mean my friend’s doubts….I’ll meet you later then….You’re really the best.”
After a short hug, Shivaay leaves from her room .
Daadi(to herself) : “ Great news !…now even my billu has joined the list of Ishqbaazs in our family…I had some doubt earlier but now it’s all clear…He cannot fool his Daadi….Both of them are madly in love with each other. I think it’s time to talk to Jaya ji.”
In Shivaay’ s room
Shivaay( talking to himself) : “Am I really in love? I don’t know …..Ok. Let’s try the test which Daadi suggested . I’ll just close my eyes and everything will be clear…”
Shivaay closes his eyes and sees the same scene of their first meeting, the night, the sea waves, the sand and Annika . He opens his eyes with a jerk.
Shivaay : “Maybe, it was a coincidence…I’ll try again…”
He closes his eyes again, this time he again sees Annika but the scene has changed. It was from yesterday’s party.He tries again and again but every time he sees only Annika.
Shivaay(smiles sweetly) : “So, I AM IN LOVE , I’m in love with you Annika. But I don’t know if you have the same feelings for me….I’ll find that out soon….”
That day , Annika leaves early with Jaya and Saahil and even Shivaay doesn’t stop her. He makes his mind that he’ll clarify everything tomorrow. At Dinner time, Daadi announces that all the Oberois and Annika’s family will be going for a picnic the next day to cheer-up Saahil.Everyone readily agree.
All are happy and excited about the fun outing the next day in the OM .But two people are busy planning something, Daadi and Shivaay, indeed for the same purpose but unknown to each other.

As, I had said earlier this was not going to be a long ff, so within 2-4 more parts this ff will be ending .So, I’m trying to give it a proper ending and I hope I’m not rushing with the plot, if you feel that I am rushing please do tell me .
