Recap: four years leap and laksh’s accident

All the men in white clothes are standing in shamshaan ghat ( graveyard ) ….. Dp, shekhar, adarsh, sp all have tears in their eyes. Dp is asked to lit the body. Dp holds the mashaal with shivering hands and lit the fire. He looks at the body of his son as he goes away from him forever…

Dp ( thinks ): wht did u do buddy??? U said I always cheat… But I used to cheat in games buddy and u.. U made life a game and went away leaving me alone…… .. U cheated me buddy….. Now wht will I do alone??? this was my time to go… But u went bete… Leaving me all alone… Giving me the pain of life time…………

He cries until his eyes dried and couldn’t cry more………

All the ladies are sitting in the hall Of MM in white clothes in front of laksh’s photo with a garland on it…. Pari ( adarsh’s wife ) takes ansh with him…. Ap and shomi are seen crying….

Dp along with others comes there…. Ap stands up and goes to him….

Ap: where is lucky?? Haan where is he?? He has gone with u na?? Then Where did u left him?? Tell na where is my son. My lucky????

She hugs him crying… Everyone looks on………..

Ragini is sitting lifelessly on floor with her head resting on the bed……

jab duwaye maine rab se mangi tab jake too mila

(( she remembers all the moments she spent with him……))

baat lenge milke dono sathi shikwa ho ya gila

(( the wind blows…… She recollects her first meeting with him n their marriage…..))

(( she stands up and slowly comes in washroom… The dupatta slips from her shoulder and she stands in front of the mirror…. She turns on the shower……… The water falls on her and the vermillion on her hair line slowly started flowing along with the water…… She keeps standing there looking at her reflection and finally the vermillion vanishes from her hair line…… ))

(( and finally she she cried and takes the soap holder and throws it on the breaking it into innumerable pieces….. And shouts ” nooooooooo ” she sits down crying……))

(( ” luckyyyyyyyyyyy ” she screams crying………))

(( she keeps on crying sitting under the shower……..))

Like this days passed, weeks passed….. Maheshwari’s were living like zinda laash … There were no more cheerful noises and laughters….. No jokes were cracked….. Everything seems to be lifeless………..

Dp comes to office and goes inside Laksh’s cabin……. He recollects how he made laksh the MD of the company and made him sit on that chair………. He touches the chair to feel his son…….

Sp comes there and sees his small brother distorted….. He comes near him and keeps his hand on his shoulder……

Sp: whtever it may be but the all happened bcoz of Pooja…. In any auspicious work a widow’s shadow is also inauspicious that’s y I didn’t brought Pooja with me in lucky’s wedding but u didn’t understood and brought her……….

Dp looks at his brother in disbelief and anger… He sighed and turn towards him…..

Dp: bhaisaab pls… Don’t insult my son’s death… Don’t…..

And he leaves from there leaving sp alone…….

Ap comes to Ragini’s room and sees her sitting lifelessly on the bed with the sweater she made for lucky, in white clothes….

Ap: ginni….

Ragini: maa..

She is abt to stand up…

Ap: aan… Sit sit….

Ap ( sitting beside her and giving her clothes.): ginni pls change these clothes now…..

Ragini: nhi ma I’m fine…..

Ap: beta colors binded u n lucky together if u’ll go away from the colours then u’ll go away from lucky also….

Ragini takes clothes from her n keep them aside. She holds her hands…

Ragini: ma by wearing colorful clothes life’s lost colors doesn’t comes back n Vaise bhi the rituals is…..

Ap: more than rituals I care abt u ginni…. , my daughter….. N I don’t want to lose my daughter….

She caresses her hair and they both hug each other…………

At night dp was sitting in study going through the photo album of laksh……

” buddy… Buddy…….. ”

Dp looks up and finds laksh standing there. His eyes welled up …

” u won’t let me rest in peace also na…??? ”

Dp keeps looking at him emotionally……. But someone’s voice brings him back…

” dadu dadu….. ”

Ansh shouts to get attention…. Dp looks down n finds ansh standing at laksh’s place…. He closes the album and rushes to him…. He hugs him and picks him in his arms…

” annu…. Annu….. ”

He shouts calling ap who comes running to us….

Ap: kya hua??

Dp: our lucky has not gone anywhere… He’s with us… He’s in ansh…. Our ansh is our lucky…..

Ap has happy tears and she hugs ansh… Both dp and ap are happy as they got their son back in form of their grandson…….

Next day shomi and shekhar came to meet ragini… Their lives has also taken a u turn.. Their daughter was alone now……

Shomi: how r u beta???

Ragini: maa….. How would I be without lucky???

Shekhar: beta lets go to our home…..

Ragini: wht r u saying papa?? Now this is my house…. I can’t leave papa, mumma and ansh…..

Shekhar: but beta u hv ur life to live n if u’ll live here the darkness and memories of this house will not let u move on….. With whom u came in this house has gone very far from u….. N it was all past now u hv to think abt ur present n future…..

Ragini ( stands up and goes to him): nhi papa… Lucky has gone leaving mumma papa n ansh alone but I can’t go….. I’ll not go….

She cries hugging him. Shekhar and shomi too cries with her……

Shekhar: beta u do what u want but just remember one thing that I’m always there for u….

Ragini nods and hugs him….

Next morning ragini comes in her room calling for ansh….

Ragini: ansh… Where are u???

She turns around and sees ansh sitting in the almirrah where laksh’s clothes are kept… She comes to him……

Ragini: ale mela bacha kya kar raha hai????

Ansh: I’m with my buddy…. I cam feel him here…..

Ragini’s eyes welled up. She picks up ansh in her arms and takes him out of the almirrah… She sits on a couch with him……

Ragini: ansh… Should I tell you something abt ur buddy???

Ansh: I know… I know he has gone to God! .( ragini looks at him surprised ) he’s alone there na so he called buddy to him… I hv dadu dadi n u but He don’t have anyone na……

Ragini caresses his hair…

ANSH: but I’m very angry on buddy….

Ragini: y??

Ansh: coz he didn’t even say bye to me before going…….

His innocence made ragini cry and she hugged him tightly near her heart…..

RAGINI’S POV!

He didn’t said bye to me also… I’m also angry on him…… Y lucky y??? Y did u leave me alone??? How will I live without u…..

In the hall ap and dp were sitting with their lawyer ( Mr. Sahni ) , insurance agent ( Mr. Mittal ) and adarsh.

Sahni: I know it’s not a right time to talk abt all these but its important so I’m asking wht to do abt the profit which was transferred to Laksh’s account???

Ap: ginni is lucky’s wife so transfer everything in her account….

Dp nods while adarsh is shocked..

Mittal: n here is the cheque of Rs 5 crore of laksh’s insurance….

He passes the cheque to Sahni to give it to dp but….

Dp: keep this with u n put this also in ginni’s account…….

They nod and go from there. Adarsh also goes from there angrily…….

At night Ragini was trying to make painting but every time she tries to sketch laksh’s memories starts haunting her…. She pushes the board and comes inside the room and hugs the sweater she made for him….

She separates the sweater from herself and sees laksh standing there in the same sweater. He opens his arms smiling and she hugs him tightly crying……..

She comes on the terrace and dances with the sweater, imagining laksh in rain…. Baawri Piya Ki plays in bg….

Dp comes there and sees ragini all broken and sees her losing her connection with the world……

Ragini comes to the real world and sits on the ground crying and shouts for laksh…….. She breaks down as the rain falls on her trying to apply medicine on her wounds…….

Dp is heart broken seeing his daughter like that…. She was not the same girl whom he has brought in this house as lucky’s wife and his daughter……. Its been almost a year that laksh has gone from their lives and she hasn’t smile for once also……….. .

There will be emotional chapters now….. The story will go on as in movie with some additions from my side as well….. … I hope u’ll like it…..
