A beautiful girl is seen crying. Her tears ruined her makeup. Her eyeshadow is smudged. Her daughter came to her, and rested her hand on her shoulder. The daughter said “Ma, please tell me the story of you and dad.” “I know that dad is not here with us now. You also blame yourself, I want to know, why you blame yourself. Come on, tell me your story” she said. The mother turned around and smiled at her daughter. The beautiful mother said “You know why, we named you Kaira?” “I don’t know, why you named me Kaira” Kaira said. “Me and your dad joined our names together.” “Karthik plus Naira, equals to Kaira. Kaira’s mother name was Naira. “Maa, why didn’t you get married to dad, ever.” Naira said “I will tell you why, you are old enough to know.” Kaira rolled her eyes and said “I was old enough to know, when I was 13 years old, but you’re telling me now, at 16.” Naira put her finger on her lips, signing Kaira to be quiet. She started her long story which was full of sadness.

Story:

I was shocked at that day. I never imagined that he could do this to me. Tears are pouring down her face, blood shot, glassy eyes. makeup smeared, red face. We went against our family, so we could become Kaira . But now it’s gone, Kaira has broken into pieces. There was no point of this, no point at all. It is too hard for me to forgive him.

I remember the time how he had propose to me on valentines. It was the most special day of my life.

I heard the door opened, I knew who it was, but did not speak at all. I just didn’t have enough courage to turn around and talk to him. He stood in front of me and looked down at my face. He kneeled down and held my hands, he could see the fear in my face. He didn’t say anything but he started to come closer to me. He was so close that I could feel his breath. I just wanted to hug him tight, but I couldn’t.
“Naira Sweetheart, don’t cry and tell me what happened” he said softly.

I never imagined that the most special person in my life, would betray me.

Naira: Karthik, we have been together for 10 years now, we are still not married. We are only 23, this is the right age to date. But no, we both went against our parents and dated when we were only 13. I sometimes feel ashamed of myself. Then I remember that I am here living with the most special person of my life, which is you. It is true that I love you more than God and my own family. You know why? Because, you make me feel special. I remember how we became Kaira, leaving away Naira and Karthik. I would tell people that my name is Kaira. People would laugh, but I did not care. You know why I didn’t care? I didn’t care because I had someone that loved me more than themselves, which was you. Spending time with you was the only way that I could escape from the reality of life. My mother doesn’t love me anymore, but I still love her. I wanted to live with her teachings, but our love story came in between. I broke the rules, which were given to me by my family. I always wanted to become my mother’s reflection, but no, I was too dumb for that. I was a cool girl, who mostly did her own. I always use to fight with everyone, back then. Even I knew that I was good at heart, but no one else really knew, except for you. When you go to your business trip, I feel lonely. You go to business trips, at least 28 times a year. Karthik, I loved you, till today. Now I do not wish to see your face.

She could not speak anymore. She let go of Karthik’s hand and faced down in shame.

Karthik (thinking):
I think she has found out my truth. I love Naira, I do. I love her from the bottom of my heart. I can’t see tears in her eyes. I can’t describe how I am feeling. I am feeling ashamed of myself. My classmates were right, I am just a peice of shit. I could not even looking after my lady love. I went on business trips quite often, leaving Naira alone here. I am such a stupid person! I couldn’t even look after Naira. I have betrayed her, she has the rights to get angry on me. I have lost her trust, I have lost it. I don’t want to become a bad person again, by forcing Naira to forgive me. It is her right to forgive me or not. All I can say to her is, that I will love her till the end. I cannot even imagine breaking up with Naira. I know I did wrong, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t love her.

Naira stood up and turned around, she didn’t want to face Karthik.

Naira: When we were 16 and dating, you were also dating Anushka. You were dating Anushka, when I went to United Kingdom. You have no idea, how much I missed you! I stayed 1 month without you. I was over there missing you and you were over here cheating on me with Anushka. Karthik, you are such a cheap man. I never expected this from you, never. I always loved you, always. You also did the most disgusting thing ever! You raped Anushka!!

Karthik got shocked! Karthik pulled Naira’s hand, and made her face him.

Karthik: I did date her, but I never raped her! Naira how can you even believe this?

Naira: Just shut up. I don’t believe in your words! You are just a fuc*ing liar! Just go to hell.

After saying this, Naira left the apartment.

Karthik was broken.

Karthik (thinking):
What the hell! I never raped Anushka. What nonsense Anushka is teling my love Naira. No, no, Naira can’t go away from me. No one can separate us. I think I should go to Anushka’s house to ask her.

Karthik left the apartment and ran to his bike.

Karthik is outside Anusha’s house

I was about to suicide, but my sister stopped me, from doing so. I lied to Naira, to take my revenge. Anyways, she deserved to know the truth. When you broke up with me, that was the worst day of my life. That’s why, I told Naira, so you guys can get ruined. I am so happy to see that today is your worst day. I can’t express how happy I am, to see your sadness on your face.

A blast was about to happen, Naira’s eyes were about to be opened. She was about to know that Karthik didn’t rape Anushka. Karthik did know that he had to apologize to Naira for dating Anushka, secretely. You might be wondering how will Naira know that Karthik never raped Anushka! Karthik has recorded everything. He has recorded his and Anushka’s conversation.

Karthik cups Anushka’s face and says “Anushka, tumne to mera kam aur assan karliya.”

He got on his bike and went back to the apartment.

Karthik had a bouquet in his hand, he opened the door and called out “Naira.”

He wasn’t surprised to not hear an answer, since his sweet Naira was angry at him. “Stop playing games now” he said. He got tensed and started searching for her in the apartment.

Karthik got really worried for her, he ran downstairs and asked the security guard.

Karthik: Excuse Me, have you seen my wife, oh I mean girlfriend

Security Guard: Yes, I saw her. I felt very sorry for her.

Karthik was still for a moment

Karthik: Sorry for her? What do you mean?!?

Security Guard: She was in pain. I don’t know for what, but she was screaming hard out. The ambulance came and took her to the City hospital.

Karthik got shocked.

“MY NAIRA, MY NAIRA” Karthi screamed while crying.

A few moments later..Karthik got a call.

He picked it up
Doctor: You are Naira’s husband right? Hurry up, today is the baby’s delivery. You are about to become a father.

Karthik was absolutely out of the world. He was shocked to know that Naira is pregnant.

Karthik (thinking):
Shit, what have I done!!! How can I! She got pregnant because of me. What will people think of us? That we are not married and we started to make babies. Karthik, what sin have you done?!

He didn’t know what to do, all he knew is that he had to reach to his Naira.

He got on his bike and made his way to the hospital.

On his way, when he was driving his bike. His tyre got punctured. This was when he was crossing a deserted place. (deserted place – sunsaan jagga) He turned around and saw Anushka.

Karthik thought that this was Anushka’s plan

Karthik wanted to scream and hit her, but he knew that wasn’t the right thing to do. He calmed down.

Karthik: Please take me with you, I have to reach to Naira

Anushka: Who is this bouquet for?

Karthik: I bought it for Naira, but she never was at home.

Anushka: Why what happened with her now?

She knew everything which had happened with Naira. She just asked Karthik, to make herself look obvious that she isn’t all behind this.

Karthik: She is ………

Before he could say something, 3 goons came and took Karthik’s car, money and his gold locker. They also took the diamond ring he was wearing, which Naira had gifted him.

Karthik: Oy Kutta! Shut up and pass me that diamond ring! Take everything except for that. My jaan gifted that for me!

The goons laughed

Karthik came closer to them, he was about to punch the goon’s face, but another goon came in back and made Karthik fall over.

One of the goons took his gun and shot Karthik 3 times, near his heart. Which means he is no more…he is dead.

Kaira found this story so sad and she found Kaira such a cute couple. Kaira said “Maa, who told you this and what happened when I was born?”

Naira: Anushka came to the hospital and told me everything. She also told me that Karthik wanted to say sorry to me. He had an bouquet in his hand. That was sweet of him.

Kaira: Oh, that’s why, you keep that bouquet in that room.

Naira smiled at her

Kaira: Maa, so that means that the day, dad died, it was the same day, when I was born.

Naira: Yes, that’s why I go to the temple every early morning.

Kaira: Were you hurt hearing dad’s death news?

Naira: It is very hard for me to explain how I felt. It is very hard to explain. I was just broken into pieces. Just broken. He fought with the goons just for the ring, I gave him. He cares about the ring more than his own life.

Kaira: This is called love.

Naira: After 3 days, staying at hospital, I came back home with you. I tried to be happy with you. Inside I wasn’t happy at all.

Naira:Karthik and me, are your parents. It’s just that Kaira never got married.

Kaira: What happened with dad?

Naira: I don’t even know where he is burned or buried. I just never saw him again.

Kaira hugged her mother.

Naira: I forgived Anushka for creating misunderstanding between me and Karthik. They were dating, but Karthik never raped Anushka.
Kaira and Naira got separated from the hug.

Kaira: I feel like the truth is something else. Anushka is an idiot. That’s my opinion about Anushka, don’t judge it. Anyways, I don’t want to talk about her.

Naira smiled at Kaira

Naira: I don’t care what age you date! I care that you are always happy

Kaira smiles

Kaira: What were dad’s dream?

Naira: His dream was to have a daughter named “Kaira.” Which actually came true. His second dream was to have a son named “Ariak.” Which never came true!

Naira: It’s Kaira, but backwards.

Kaira: OHHH I SEE….

Kaira looked at the time and got shocked

Kaira: OHHHH GOD!!!!! I AM LATE FOR DANCE CLASS

Naira: HURRY UP KAIRA!!!!!

Kaira kissed Naira on the cheeks and left for her dance class.

Naira smiled seeing Kaira.
