Prologue

A girl was sitting in front of mirror checking out her look constantly and nervously smiling within self.

Why god I…Am I ready for this I mean I am just 25 like seriously I know these guys we loved and dated each other from past two years but why I am feeling different now though we know each other’s parents from the time we started dating. There is something different yet it gives a positive vibe I can’t understand these feelings…

Am I the one who goes through these feelings? Is he also feeling the same?

May be this is called wedding jitters….she thought was about to go further but her trance broke when a person calling out her name and she just smiled at her…

Meanwhile A woman around her double age came there calling her name and stood watching her girl having same expressions she had back then …that women just smiled at her she knew what was going in her little brain …she just thought to help her daughter so just called her name loud out as she could get out of trance..

“Swarmayi”she called out

“Mamma” saying this she got up from her place smiled at her mother and gave her a brief hug..

“Mayu , I know what are you feelings your going through now”she said caressing her face lovingly

She made her daughter seat at the bed and she herself sat in front of her taking her hand in her hand, while her daughter was still shocked how her mother got to know…she just smiled at her daughter knowingly..

“I know you will be little wondered how I got to know about it..Simple logic beta I was at this stage facing it back then though I didn’t date person but still I was girl then like you. I had a questionnaire in my mind” she said and laughed a little winking at her daughter…

“Mamma” her daughter chided a little

“Ok Ok ..not any more…”she squished her daughters palm lightly and delicate assuring her daughter that she would just reduce her stress and help her to understand the commotion of feelings.

“You may think..am I ready for this marriage proposal..can’t the things be the same as they were after marriage? Why should I leave my house, can’t he (the groom) come over here and stay with me as always ? If suppose I mentally prepared myself to leave my parents who raised me, then would able to take up this responsibility on my own with no support and Most importantly am I only one who is facing these feeling or maybe he(the groom ) would have same feelings?”she said and smiled at her daughters amazed look…

When her daughter got assured that she is not only the one who faced it…same happened with her mamma to she felt reveled and when she realized that her mother shared a little moment with her she gave a cheeky sheepishly smiling at her…

“Mamma, please tell your story I know you and Dadda had typical arranged marriage and how did you get to about marriage proposal and all, please” she said and cutely pouting at her mother…to which she couldn’t deny and gave a wide smile at her…

“You know it’s very funny incident realizing me being or getting married thought …when your massi told me her dramatic way and made me realize I have to get married at certain time” she laughed remembering those moments…she then continued what actually her sister said..

Flashback

“Swara di, Love and Marriage are those words …which would not be said …or someone knock your door and say …

Knock !! Knock !! Wedding Bells Madam..!!!!

Like they say knock knock …your delivery madam” saying this to her she laughed of loudly where swara was pissed

Flashback end..

“Mamma , please tell na how did you take these marriage proposal things and your feeling on it , please” her daughter swarmayi pleaded where swara just smiled at her …
