Chapter 2- Birthday part 2

Kartiks pov: She came out of the washroom looking ectstatic. I don’t know why but i wanted to know. I went closer to her and she breathed heavily on me. The cheeky smile faded away and whispered in my ear “Happy Birthday sweetheart, i have a surprise for you which you’ll get to know later.”
My Sherni, my dearest Naira, never fails to amaze me. Finally those words came out of her mouth and she said there’s a surprise for me.

Kartik: “Kaisa surprise Naira?”
Naira: “Uffo Kartik, tum wait nahi sakte? Main badme bolongi, akhir yeh surpise bohot bara hai or special bhi!”

Naira’s pov: Yes the surprise is big, i can’t express how i am. I have no words to express how I’m feeling right now. Mera Kartik, mera jaan, bohot jaldi papa banni vali hai. My cheeks have turned crimson red on thinking the same. We have been married for two years and now we will have our own child.

Flashback: Naira goes to the washroom and feels nausea. She is disturbed on thinking the same and realises that she is 1 month late.  She takes out a pregnancy stick out of her purse which she purchased from the store and took the test. She and Kartik decided to plan a baby as they both felt the right to take responsibility. They both wanted the child hence the reason why naira is taking the test now.
Waiting for 5 minutes my patience have gone down. I look back at the test only to reveal that it was positive. What a better surpise to give to Kartik on his birthday. Three minutes later i come out with a big smile on my face only to realise that it’s not the time to tell him now. The surprise can wait for later.

Kartiks pov: my jaan has a surpise for me, i can’t wait to know it. The excitement that’s building up my body can’t be put into words. I went closer to Naira and kissed on her cheeck saying “thank you for being with me, i couldn’t do it without you.”
