“What the hell, Mom? Why have you stopped me from telling the truth?
“Because I don’t want to be again separated from my son. I don’t care if you call it selfishness or anything.”
“Mom, I can understand your feelings, but it’s better, to tell the truth now itself. You have only told that how much we try to hide the truth, but it will come in the front of everyone one day or the other.”
“I don’t know anything, Sanskar. I don’t want to be away from you again. You have my oath.” Her voice choked on the last line. She was crying. A mother only knows how difficult is to love live without her children. She spent about 5 years without her son, thinking that he died. She only knows how she spent those dreadful years, and now when he came back, she will not let her son go away.

“Okay, Fine Mom. I won’t say the truth, but please stop crying. You know I can’t see tears in my Mom’s eyes.”
Sujata smiled and wiped her tears.
“Let’s go Sanskar otherwise anyone can doubt us.”
“Yes, Mom. Let’s see what’s happening there.”
They both went and were shocked to know that Raglak are going to marry, whereas Swara was busy in doing preparations for marriage with a heavy heart. She has plastered a fake smile on her face to show Ragini that how happy she is! She was doing the preparations in the hall, meanwhile, a lady spoke.
“What type of a girl she is! Her fiancée ditched her and going to marry her sister, and she is doing the preparation of their marriage happily.”
“Surely, this girl would have done something otherwise which man will leave her would be wife and marries her sister.” Another lady spoke.
“Yes, you are right!”

“Now who will marry her? Poor she! I feel pity for her.”
Both ladies started laughing. Swara couldn’t control more and ran to her room and started crying while holding her pillow.
“Why God all are considering me guilty? Is it my fault that Laksh doesn’t love me?” She was crying bitterly. “Why did Laksh do this to me? If he did not love me, why did he do this to me?”
One person had watched the whole incident, and he was feeling very bad for her. That person is Durgaprasad Maheswari. He has always considered Swara as his daughter and seeing her in such a condition, he felt very bad. He thought something and went away from there.
“Shekhar Ji, I want to talk to you.”
“Yes Durgaprasad Ji, say. “ He was doing the preparations for marriage.
“What if we make Swara and Sanskar also marry?”
“What are you saying?”

Durgaprasad told the whole incident.
“This all is happening because of your son only.”
“I know Shekhar Ji, and I am sorry from his side. But please do think about Swasan marriage.” He left, leaving shocked Shekhar.
“My Swara is suffering because of his son, but he hasn’t said anything wrong. It will be good for Swara if she will marry Sanskar. No one will taunt her. Let me talk to Sharmistha first about it.”
“Durgaprasad Ji is saying right, Shekhar. Now, who will marry our Shona? Society will consider our Shona bad!! I don’t want my Shona to live a life like I lived!! Sanskar is a very good man!! He will make her happy.”
“You are right, Mishti. Let’s talk about this to Swara.”
They both were going towards Swara’s room and were shocked to see her crying. Shekhar looked at Sharmistha and she assures him that Swara will be fine through her eyes. Sharmistha went inside the room.
“Shona”

“Haan Maa” (Yes, Maa) Swara wiped her tears and looked towards them. “Haan Maa” (Yes, Maa)
“You don’t need to hide your tears from your Maa.”
Listening to this, she started crying bitterly hugging her mother. Sharmistha caressed her face and consoled her.
“Shona” she spoke softly and in a very calm voice. “Shona, I and Shekhar have decided something for you, beta.”
“What Maa?”
“Shona, We want you to marry Sanskar. We are not forcing you, beta, but, think about the situation. You know about our society, beta. They will consider you guilty, not Laksh. I don’t want you to live a life like I have lived.”
“Maa, I can’t marry Sanskar. He loves Kavita, and about society, I don’t care Maa.”
“Shona, Kavita is dead. Please Shona, marry Sanskar. Please beta. I want you to be happy.”
“But, Maa”
“Please beta, marry him. I can’t see my daughter like this.”

“Ok, Mom, I agree. What about Sanskar?”
“If he will agree then I don’t have any problem.”
“Shona, Durgaprasad Ji himself came and talked about the marriage.”
“Hmm, If Sanskar is ready then, I am also ready.”
“Thank you so Much, Shona. I know now you are not happy, but this is good for you, beta.” She caressed her face and went away.
