The episode starts with lord ram saying we will go right now for the pind dan at gaya ji. Hanuman says yes lord and hanuman is excited. Everyone get ready and are outside the palace waiting for the pushpak viman. Hanuman asks but how can the pind dan at gaya ji be so helpful and honor your ancestors which will give you benefit? Hanuman says I want to know mata sita. Sita says yes hanuman I will tell you the story, there was a demon named gayasur but like other demons, he was evil and he was a demon who walked the path of righteousness and was very kind. He was once sitting and praying to lord Vishnu to impress him, but in doing so, the other demons of the world who had committed sins were getting salvation to heaven because of which the natural balance of the universe was changing and people who actually deserved salvation did not get it after death. The balance had to be maintained so lord brahma himself appeared in front of gayasur.
Gayasur stopped praying and said brahma dev, you are the param pita and pranam, but I was impressing lord Vishnu. Brahma dev said I know gayasur but I came here to ask you for a blessing myself, gayasur says yes param pita, if you think I am worth giving you a wish then please ask what you want.
There a monster comes to monster nikumbh and tells him that ram and everyone are going to gaya ji for the pind dan, with the pind dan they will make an example of religion amongst the people which can foil our plans. Nikumbh says pind dan? I will go to gaya ji and stop ram.
There brahma dev asked gayasur that he wished to sit on his body and do the prayers. Gayasur then said yes he will fulfill his wish and he laid down, brahma dev then sat on gayasur’s body and prayed. In this way, until brahma dev’s prayers weren’t over, the natural balance was maintained and no demon got salvation. But when brahma dev’s prayers were done, gayasur would get up and start praying again which would cause demons to get salvation so all the gods came and stood on the huge body of gayasur, but gayasur was confused as to why the gods did this so he tried getting up, it was difficult for the gods to stay like this on gayasur’s body and gayasur was getting up, but lord Vishnu himself came in his huge form and kept his leg on gayasur, gayasur was very happy and he touched lord Vishnu’s leg and did pranam and then laid down again. he asked lord Vishnu his wish, lord Vishnu said what do you want gayasur? Gayasur said lord I am pure now from the touch of your feet and I just want that I stay under your feet for eternity. Lord Vishnu said I give you what you wish but for that you need to first get engrossed in the earth itself and my temple will be built over this ground, then from now people will come here for pind dan from which even they will benefit and their ancestors will be honored. Gayasur said yes my lord and if I will be engrossed into the earth, I want you to do that. Lord Vishnu said yes and he with his leg put gayasur into the earth and since then pind dan is done. Hanuman says that is nice. The pushpak viman comes and everyone get on it. hanuman flies and as they reach gaya, hanuman thinks I sense something is here.
Near the riverside of the temple, lord ram and sita do the Pooja as hanuman helps them too. After the Pooja, the coconut, rice grains, gold and other things are wet in the river by lord ram. Hanuman sees some shadows in the sky and says I see some demon here and I shall stop him so that lord ram’s is not disturbed in the pind dan. Hanuman goes silently.
Precap: the monster nikumbh meets hanuman, he tells hanuman that he wont allow ram to do anything in the path of righteousness and he will turn the world on the path of iniquity and defeat ram.
