Shekhar and Sharmishtha were always the ideal couple of the society. Right from when they married, they were constantly admired but that came with the problems of it’s own. In an accident when Sharmishtha lost her ability to give birth, the expectations of the society came crashing down. They had to cope up with them,and to fulfill there needs of life, they adopted The twins, Swara and Ragini, hence to be called Swara and Ragini Agarwal and the daughters of the Agarwal family.

Swaragini never faced discrimination from there family for the fact they were adopted. They were treated with love and warmth and there step-parents and grandparents had never let them feel that they did not ‘belong’.
But that was not the end of problems. As shekhar and Sharmishtha treated them as they had “Blood Relation” that gave them the right to scold them when they were wrong as well. Swara did not used to take it seriously, but Ragini being sensitive would run to her grand mothers and share her insecurities with them.

Time changed as they grew up.

Ragini suffered with extreme depression which she never shared with anyone. No one knew what she had seen in life. No one can feel the way she feels. And hiding it from the world seemed like the only option.

Swara on the other hand was sensitive yet strong. She was a spoilt-brat and a badass. But that does not makes her the villain. She loved her family to the fullest, and had dreams of her own. Her motive was achieving a happy life.

Many don’t know the aspects of life, but Moonlight Love shows how dangerously little you know about love.
