It all depends on my family- A DevAkshi FF: Part 7

RECAP: Dev and Sonakshi become friends. And, Ishwari starts liking Sonakshi as well.. Dev and Sonakshi decide to celebrate.
DEV’S POV:
Wearing a white coat over a gray shirt, and formal pants, I reached Sonakshi’s house at 8:00 p.m. I leaned against my car, waiting for my best friend to arrive. I wondered what she would be wearing…. well, whatever she wore, whether I was lost in her or not, I definitely knew that she was going to be lost in me. I was looking really good, I knew!

At last, I could hear someone coming out of the house. I stood up straight and squinted my eyes in the darkness, to see who it was. It was Sonakshi! I took a look at her clothes, and was completely lost in her beauty. My word, she looked more than beautiful… she looked dazzling! Sporting a sleeveless red short frock, until the knees, she was also wearing heels. Her hair was left open, curling all over her shoulders. Looking at her once again, at this point, I must have simply gone mad over her. I had a crush on Sonakshi since the very first day, but she had triggered it again.

I pictured the Sonakshi who had come to my house in the morning, and compared her with this one. She was looking really beautiful, but the simplicity still reflected in her eyes.

SONAKSHI’S POV:
I saw Dev in astonishment, for the old-fashioned, not-so-cool person was looking like a dashing, sporty, awesome guy! He was looking so handsome, that I can’t describe. It was as if I fell in love with this so-awesomely-dressed Dev!

BACK TO DEV’S POV:
I kept staring at her, and she at me, as silent minutes passed. Finally, she whispered, “Can we go now?” I got out of my dream world, and replied, “Y- Ya- ya, of course..” I opened the door of the car, and she sat inside gracefully. I smiled, as I went to the driving seat, and slammed the door.

We reached the restaurant, and I extended my hand out to her. She smiled, and put her hand into mine, as we went in. The whole restaurant was empty. “Dev! Have you booked the entire restaurant for us?” “Of course! Apni best friend keliye main itna to kar hi sakta hoon,” we smiled at each other. I pulled a seat for her, and I sat down on the opposite one. “Kya lengi aap?” I asked her formally, grinning. We ordered a huge load of food, and Sonakshi actually allowed some unhealthy stuff as well.

“Dev..” Sonakshi said, “Thank you so much! Agar tum nahi hote, to Auntyji mujhe kabhi pasand nahi karti. It’s all thanks to you.” I put my hand on hers. “Stop thanking me! Ye sab tum meri Maa ke liye hi to kar rahi ho.”

The manager came to our table, while we were chatting. “Mr. Dixit, and Ms. Bose… Won’t you dance? Such a beautiful couple, aur aap dono dance nahi karenge, ye kaise ho sakta hai?” We beamed at each other, and I took Sonakshi’s hand in mine, and gently pulled her towards the dance floor. A romantic song played in the background, and I put my hand around her waist, with her hand on my shoulder, as we danced passionately. I twirled her around, and we continued moving. But, she lost her balance, and landed up in my arms.

I pulled her up, smiling, as we continued dancing. After the dance, we thanked the manager for the wonderful evening. I took Sonakshi in my car, and dropped her to her house. “Thanks a lot for the lovely evening, Dev,” she hugged me, as I reciprocated, kissing her on the forehead in a friendly manner.” “Bye! See you tomorrow,” we said to each other, and I drove back home, smiling throughout the way.
