Part 41:

Saturday morning everyone was getting everything ready. The guests were coming for tea. Meghna and Naina had gotten ready.

Meghna and Naina were in Khyatis room helping her get ready.

Naina: You look absolutely gorgeous Khyati.
Khyati: Thank you Naina Bhabi.
Meghna took a bit of her Kajal and applied it to the back of Khyatis ear.
Meghna: Kisi khi nazar na lage.
Khyati: Thank you Meghna Bhabhi.
Naina: How are you feeling Khyati?
Khyati: Nervous.
Meghna: You’ll be fine Khyati, just keep calm.
Naina: Yeah, everything will go well.
Khyati: Thank you both for being here.
She said holding their hands.

Meghna and Naina brought Khyati down to where everyone else were sitting. Khyati seed the elders blessings and took a seat next to Nirmala.
NK: This is Khyati , you already know her.
Raj(NKs friend): It been a long time, she’s all grown up now.
Nandini(Rajs wife): She’s looks very pretty.
Nirmala: Khyati, this is Nikhil.
Nikhil: Hi Khyati.
Khyati: Hi.
Dadaji: Badi Bahu, could you go get the gift we got.
Meghna: Jee Dadu

Meghna went up to her room and looked around.
Meghna: Where is it?

Nikhil: I need to use the washroom.
Sandhya: Karan , would you show him?
Karan: Sure.
Karan walked with Nikhil upstairs showed him the washroom and then came back down.
Naina was standing there waiting for Meghna.
Naina (mind): What’s taking Di so long?

Meghna was still searching.
Meghna: It must be in Karan and Naina room.

Naina went to Kunal.
Naina: Jeeju , could you check on Di? I think she forgot we put the gift in my room
Kunal: Sure Naina.
Karan: I’ll go and see where Nikhil is.
Raj: You should, he’s always getting lost.
They laughed.

Meghna went to Karan and Nainas room and found the bag, she picked he bag up and headed to the door only to bump into Nikhil.
Meghna: Nikhil? Are you lost?
Nikhil smiled: I found what I was looking for.
Meghna was confused: What do you mean?
Meghna stepped away from him.
Nikhil closed the door.
Meghna: What do you think you’re doing?
Nikhil: Don’t you want to spend some time with me?
Meghna was disgusted as Nikhil was closing the gap between them, she pushed him out of the way and made her way to the door.
Though she was stopped by Nikhils grip.
Nikhil: Wrong move Bhabi.

Karan and Kunal made way to their directions. Karan didn’t find Nikhil and went with Kunal.

Meghna: Let go!

Kunal and Karan heard Meghna.
Kunal: Meghna?
Karan: I think it’s coming from my room.
They both ran to the room, they tried opening the door but it was locked.

Nikhil threw Meghna onto the bed.
Meghna: What’s wrong with you!
Nikhil: I can’t help it.
Meghna got off the bed and pushed him away again but this time he held her arms tightly.
Meghna: You’re hurting me.
Nikhil dragged his fingernails down onto Meghnas blouse ripping it.

Kunal and Karan both kicked the door open.
They saw Meghna kick Nikhil and then slap him. They saw the state of Meghna, Kunal went to hold Meghna.
Kunal cupped Meghnas face: Are you okay?
Meghna: I’m fine Kunal.
Kunal looked at the ripped blouse, he took his blazer off and put it on Meghna.
Karan held Nikhil by the collar.
Karan: How dare you?!
Karan punched him.
Kunal then came and punched him again.
Meghna held both Karan and Kunal.
Meghna: No guys, don’t get your hands dirty by touching this trash.
Karan held Nikhil by the collar and then dragged him out of the room downstairs.
Kunal was holding Meghna and the followed behind.
Everyone was shocked to see what was going on.

Naina went to Meghna.
Naina: Di?!
She tamed her hair.
Meghna: I’m fine Chiku.
Nirmala: What is going on?
Kunal and Karan explained what happened. And then Meghna spoke up.
Nikhil: They’re all lies!
The words echoed in Meghna, Kunal and Karans ears.
Kunal went to Nikhil and slapped him.
Kunal: Lies? You disgusting piece of…
Raj: That’s enough!
Nandini: You can’t all go against our son like that.
Karan: What do you mean? Are you listening to us? He misbehaved with My Bhabi.
Nikhil: How do you know she isn’t lying?
Arjun: Meghna Bhabi doesn’t lie.
Nikhil: So you’re accusing me of lying?
Khyati stood in front of Nikhil: Like Arjun said, Meghna Bhabi doesn’t lie. So obviously you’re lying.
Nandini: Listen young lad…
Kunal: No, you listen. Your son is a disgusting pig. So it would be best if you take it and yourselves out of our house.
Arjun: Thats our kind request.
Raj: Are you all gone mad?
Naina: No we haven’t!
Naina finally spoke.
Naina: How are you not believing their words? Why are you only listening to your son’s? Can you not see my Di? Does she look like she’s lying? We don’t care what you think.
Kunal: So leave.

Kunal went to stand next to Meghna and held her other hand, Karan stood next to Naina, Arjun and Khyati stood in front of Naina and Meghna.
Khyati: You should leave before we say anymore.
Raj laughed: NK? This is your family? Well I don’t want anything to do with it.
NK was in shock.
Nandini: Let’s go.
The trio left.
Nirmala and Sandhya went to Meghna.
Nirmala: Meghna? Are you okay?
Sandhya: You’re not hurt are you?
Meghna: I’m fine, just a few scratches.
Dadaji: Choti Bahu, take Badi Bahu upto her room, Sandhya Ji, take Khyati to her room. Arjun, go and check on the babies.
They all went leaving NK, Nirmala, Kunal and Karan with Dadaji.
