Anika’s POV
As the sun has still not rose I rubbed my eyes 2 welcome the day. I found myself in d arms of my beloved husband shivaay. He looks so cute in his sleep, free from all his work load. I gently caressed his hair n turned 2 look at d watch. It showed 4:15. I sighed,tied my hair in a messy bun n rushed 2wards d kitchen. 2day was a big day as I was preparing a French dish. It’s name was…arghhh. I do not even remember d name bt still I will try 2 make it. He is now feared of my cooking since d day I made him eat Paneer Butter Masala. BT 2day I decided 2 make his favourite French dish. If he could do so many things 4 me then I should also n obviously I love…him. I completed with a smile in my face. I pushed my thoughts aside n started doing my work. Suddenly I saw him clearing his throat standing in front of me leaning on d kitchen door. He was surprised as he saw flour embracing me n raised his right eyebrow n asked me wat I was doing in d kitchen at this hour.
Anika(innocently): vo i was making a French dish by watching it on YouTube bt this flour…

Shivaay: u toh never wake up this early in d morning. This all u r doing 4 me.
He asked smirking.
Anika: ya vo after Panner Butter Masala u don’t eat my hand made recepies.
I replied while making a pout.
Shivaay: okay I will help u.

Anika:no I will make it myself.
Shivaay:no ifs n buts
With dat he came forward n started helping me. While I was mixing floor with water he glided his hands across my waist n he 2 started mixing. A chill ran down my spine at his touch bt I didn’t said anything as I was enjoying myself. He picked lil bit of flour n put in on my nose. I glared at him n he laughed like a maniac. It felt so good 2 see him like dat. After dat he started making d base while I chopped d vegetables. I was busy admiring him when I suddenly cut my finger. Blood oozed out as he rushed to my side n took my finger in his mouth. He was busy scolding me bt I was least bit interested n was watching him.
Shivaay: hey hello I am talking 2 u.
I came out of my dream world n bent my head down In order 2 show him dat I was guilty of wat I did. He bandaged it n asked me 2 sit. Bt being anika i stayed on my will n completed d dish.By d time we finished making it was 7. We rushed 2 our room, bathed(of couse separately?) n returned 2 d kitchen. I served every1 including him waiting 4 his response. Thou we made it, he waited 4 others 2 start 1st as he was still having hallucinations of Paneer Butter Masala. When everybody praised me he 2 tasted. I was eagerly waiting 4 his response. He also said in his sigh language dat wow anika it’s too gud ! I let out a sigh of relief.

Later dat day I was watering d plants wen he came n back hugged me. It was very surprising. He said in a husky voice.
Shivaay: wat r u doing?
Anika: “eyes” have u got eyes , can’t u see I m watering plants.
Shivaay:I am being gud 2 u n u…suddenly he grinned.
I was going 2 apologise suddelny he moved the pipe which I was holding 2wards my side. I 2 tried 2 do dat bt ended falling all over him. We both were covered in mud n were enjoying our moment.

I smiled as I completed d naration of yesterday’s events 2 my friend chinky. She glowed like a bulb n asked how lucky I was 2 have such a romantic n caring husband. I turned into a deep shade of Scarlett. Our chatting was disturbed by d bonking of d horns.
Anika: I think he has come. Chal bye.
Chinky: it was nice meeting after this much time. Bbye.

She waved as I sat in d car.
Shivaay: how was ur day anika?
Anika:I love u shivaay.
Shivaay: me 2 anika bt wat happened u r crying?
I thin layer of water formed across my eyes as I declared myself 2 be d luckiest of all girls.

BT there is only a special person who will make u smile with tears in ur eyes

I replied nothing n kept my head on his shoulder. He kissed my hair n drove 2wards d home.
